AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. All the reviews you see here are not because anyone there asks for good reviews; he has a top tier gym and it shows in every aspect. Everything I read in the reviews was right; they are absolutely one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. I have done jiu jitsu for a a few years in my teens and this gym was top tier. On top of that I have done jiu jitsu at at least 6-7 gyms in the area and his is just the best by a landslide and a half, and really makes the other gyms seem like puppy play. Taking his class, with his students; it felt like I never learned much in the first place at the other Jiu Jitsu gyms I went to and to be frank, in my teens I placed 1st at NAGA in my weight class and above my weight class and a bit above it in my prime so that REALLY shows the levels are there and his is the highest in the area. In just one class I learned more than I have than in weeks of taking classes at other gyms. Fabio N
Our daughter has only been training for month and with Fabio and family, she has improved almost 25% in life. She has gained confidence that she hadn't yet grown into. She has become more aware of her surrounding for her safety and others. She has been more clear on asking and given instructions and in listening and attacking directions. BJJ is great alone but when you have a great dojo/school like this one it makes its so much better. When you walk in you become family and greeted by everyone like such. I wont go anywhere else for BJJ. Fabio and Family are very engaged in the classes, giving clear and detailed instructions for every new move and previous moves. I don't really have anything else to say but Welcome to Bjj and hope to see you in class. He has a free week trial and that is worth visiting at least once. Also she is only 1 month in and she is 8 yrs old. Thank you guys very much. Fabio, Roberta and kids
Let's face it....everybody loves the BJJ school they go to and rates their own school highly, which often times makes it damn near impossible to tell which school is good and which is not if everybody is loving their own school. IF you have never trained at any other school than your own...then you have nothing to compare it to. I actually drive an hour and a half to get to Fabios, even though there are 5 BJJ schools in my home town and countless more along the way. I make this drive because I have actually rolled a other schools and the difference is night and day. Don't spend 7 years of your life making it to Purple at some other school...only to learn a white belt at a Legit school will make you look silly. The amount of time put in doesn't always equal your skill level. Often times your skill level is more dependent on your instructor and the school you attend versus the amount of time you put in. If your gonna put in the effort and
I was doing some training at a local gym and just messing around and kicking the heavy bag, when I was approached by a guy who introduced himself and invited me to a free week of training in BJJ. I took him up on the offer and showed up a couple weeks later to begin my training. Everyone at the gym including Fabio are amazing and gave me so much direction and were very helpful! At no time did I feel bullied or beat up. I’ve been training for over a month now and this is one of the best decisions I have ever made, I wish I would have started sooner to be honest. Overall. Amazing training, amazing people, amazing gym.
Best BJJ school bar none. Fabio teaches old school Carlson Gracie bjj, but as a top IBJJF ref, he is extremely current on all the top styles and how to beat them. Lastly, he's created a very family-friendly environment. If you want to train competitive bjj or stay in shape and have fun, try his school out. He'll give you a free week to see if it suits you.
Absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!! Fabio and Roberta are absolutely AMAZING. I have been taking my kids for almost 2 years. They absolutely love going to class (they complain if they have to miss a day). I have noticed their confidence has grown and any time they get a new belt or stripe they are over the moon because they know how much work they have put out on the mat. We love being part of this BJJ family and I’m forever grateful for them!
