As a woman it can be intimidating and challenging to participate and be aggressive in a male dominated sport like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But 085 martial arts made the process much less intimidating for me as a woman 😊 . I have not been on the mats in years, and was truly insecure to do bjj again. But 085 made me feel very comfortable and more at ease to do bjj again. It’s a women friendly environment, they truly believe in empowering women through jiu jitsu. The head instructor Professor Arão is kind, encouraging, and serious instructor. He takes Jiu Jitsu very seriously and goes over every technique in great detail. He even goes to each student to make sure they are doing the move correctly and gives feedback. He truly has a passion for his craft 🙌. Coach Rafael is also a great instructor who takes bjj seriously. He is always encouraging and motivating students to do their best and to come to class as much as possible. Consistency beats

If you're looking for a great place for kids to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, this is it! We go to the homeschooling classes and Arão is an outstanding instructor, providing high-quality training that is both structured, motivating and fun for the kids to follow along. The atmosphere at 085 is welcoming and friendly, making it a wonderful environment for my child to develop discipline and skills. We’re so glad to be part of this amazing community! My kids have become more confident in themselves since they started BJJ at 085.

Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Grappling, Kids BJJ, Little Kids (3-6), Teens BJJ, Women's BJJ, Competition Team, Self-Defense.
