I found this gym on google maps, just as it opened in the beginning of August, and started coming in about 4 days a week for 2 months. I’ve been training for roughly 3 years and have experienced a lot of different gym cultures and can say this is one of the best gyms I’ve trained at. Odie is as legit as it gets and is instilling a great culture for people coming in, whether it be to compete or just learn. I’d stay at the barracks in Corry Station for my A School training and would walk to the gym which only took 10 minutes. I met a lot of others from Corry and NAS, so if you’re also military and interested in learning any striking or grappling I highly suggest you come by here and take advantage of what the gym has to offer (there’s a military discount too). All you need is a good Coach and people to train with. Trust the process, keep showing up and you’ll be surprised at the progress you can make. I learned a lot, had good talks, and
I love this gym! I'm 44 years old and have struggled with my mental health for years. Coach Odie and all the guys and gals up there have been more than a blessing for me. Such a positive environment and everyone works together. I can not explain how good this experience has been for me, both mentally and physically. The only down side is that life sometimes gets in the way and I can't be there as much as I'd like to be. I try to show up early to warm up and catch the end of the kids class. It is awesome and hilarious watching the kids but with coaches help those kids are amazing. I will have my kids up there training soon also.
A great place to train if you are into mixed martial arts. Head coach Odie and coach Henry bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to every session. The gym is challenging no matter what you are looking to train in. My son loves training BJJ in their kids' class. There is a fundamentals class to get more practice. They are reasonably priced and love the military. If you are looking for a gym, Witness Martial Arts is the place to go.
I can't say enough great things about this place or the owners. Odie and Savannah Delaney are two of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. I'm brand new to the sport and was very intimidated to show up the first day. However, upon walking through the doors, that all went away. I never once felt out of place here. Everyone has been so supportive and uplifting. It's a nice change from other gyms I've joined. Whether you're looking to start a new journey or if you're a seasoned athlete, you'll find a welcoming environment here. I'm learning from some of the best instructors and with the new coach on board (Bobby Emmons), it's only going to get better! I highly recommend anyone to join. Unless you're a douchebag. Douchebags can stay home! 😜
I took my son after he was getting bored of taekwando, it was hard to get him there twice a week. I found WMA on google and now my son has been going 4-5x week for the past year, training for 2 hours/day and sometimes more if he didn’t have homework. Odie and Savannah are simply amazing people that want to make a positive impact in each student that walks in the door, regardless of age, physical condition and experience level. This is not a program if you want to fork over money so your kid can get a black belt in a month without the slightest ability to defend himself. It is a place where hard work meets enthusiastic and fun, positive coaches. I can’t say enough about it and we feel so blessed to have become a part of the WMA family.
I can’t say enough good things about Witness Martial Arts. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by the head coach Odie. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every session The culture of the gym is both challenging and encouraging. The camaraderie among all the members is incredible – it truly feels like a family. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned fighter, you’ll find the perfect blend of intensity and support here. If you’re serious about MMA and want to train at the best gym around, Witness is the place to be!
