I have had the pleasure and honor of learning from Professor Daniel for over twenty years! He shares impeccable, solid, old-school jiu jitsu fundamentals direct from the source! His joy and passion for jiu jitsu are infectious, he loves jiu jitsu as much as does a newly enamored beginning student! He is directly responsible for so much of my jiu jitsu, and I wear my black belt proudly, knowing that I represent Professor Montanha! The jiu jitsu that he passed through me and my teammates lives on through our students, too - all the way into the UFC Octagon! I cannot recommend strongly enough- learn jiu jitsu from The Mountain!!!
