I joined New Level Jiu Jitsu as a complete beginner and was very out of shape. Just a few months in, my health and fitness have improved dramatically, and I walk out of every class feeling like I've made real progress in my jiu jitsu. The instruction and coaching are top-notch. Each class strikes a great balance between learning new techniques and getting in an intense workout. What impresses me most, though, is the culture Professor Celso has built. New Level is more than a gym-it's an incredibly supportive and welcoming community where everyone pushes each other toward their goals while always valuing safety and respect on the mats. Whether you're chasing fitness goals, competition success, or just personal growth, you'll find people who genuinely want to see you succeed. If you're looking to start or continue your BJJ journey, I can't recommend New Level enough.
Excellent Brazilian jiu-jitsu Training Jiu-Jitsu here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The professors are awesome super friendly, patient, and they really know how to teach. You can tell they care about everyone, no matter if you’re a beginner or more advanced. The vibe is always great. Everyone treats each other well, and it really feels like a team. The teaching style is super fun and makes everything easier to understand. Every class I walk out feeling like I learned something new. If you’re looking for a place with amazing instructors, good energy, and solid training, this is definitely the spot. I’m loving it! 💖
New Level BJJ is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a part of! The environment is welcoming, motivating, and truly focused on helping everyone grow—whether you’re brand new or a seasoned practitioner. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching, and they really take the time to make sure you understand both the techniques and the bigger picture of Jiu-Jitsu. The training is top-notch, with a perfect mix of drilling, live rolls, and conditioning that keeps you sharp and constantly improving. What really sets New Level apart, though, is the culture. Everyone here treats you like family, and there’s a strong sense of respect and support on and off the mats. If you’re looking for a place to push yourself, learn real skills, and be part of an amazing community, New Level BJJ is the gym to be at. Highly recommend!
As someone who has never taken any kind of martial arts before and was out of shape when I started, New Level Jiu Jitsu has been such a great studio to learn as a beginner! Professor Celso was so welcoming from the very start and all of the students that I have taken classes with are also just as welcoming and helpful in learning the moves. It’s definitely a very encouraging community. I’m not someone aiming to be a black belt master or anything like that, but I love that I’m learning self defense to protect myself and it’s also like no workout I’ve ever experienced. As someone who started in September 2024, I still have a LOT to learn, but New Level is definitely the type of studio where I feel fully supported in my journey by both our Professors and other students. Rather you’re a beginner like me or someone more experienced, New Level Jiu Jitsu is a great studio to learn and grow at.
Denver is in incredibly good hands with Professor Celso leading the way. His jiu-jitsu is world-class, sharp, technical, and deeply rooted in tradition. You can feel the depth of his experience and heritage in every detail he teaches, and it’s clear he brings a strong lineage and pride into the academy. There’s no ego on the mats, just real, high-level training and a culture that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. It’s refreshing to see someone uphold the true spirit of jiu-jitsu while building such a positive and hardworking community. If you’re in Denver or just visiting, don’t miss the chance to train here. If I lived in the area, this would no doubt be my home gym.
Highly recommend New Level's kids program. My two kids (ages 5 and 9) started as absolute newbies - not just to jiu jitsu but to athleticism in general. There are so many benefits I've observed in each of them. They are eager to learn more jiu jitsu and continue to demonstrate the fundamentals not only on the mat but also at home and in school. The professors and coaches are kind, committed to growth and development, and are incredibly knowledgeable. We are grateful to be part of this community and I'm excited for my kids to continue to grow in their passion.
