Rad Muay Thai Fitness & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu reviews

I’ve trained at a few fight gyms, both on the West Coast and in Japan, and I can honestly say this gym changed the course of my journey. Somewhere along the way, I had forgotten what it truly meant to be a martial artist and had narrowed myself down to just being a fighter—the deeper principles of discipline, respect, and purpose behind the art had started to fade. Training here broke me down and rebuilt me the right way, restoring discipline, strength, and a renewed love for what Muay Thai truly represents. What truly sets this gym apart is the people: no one grows alone here—everyone grows together, like a garden, pushed forward by the collective whether or not you choose to compete. This gym reminded me that we don’t just train to fight—we train to live the art, and here we are not fighters who happen to train; we are martial artists who fight.
I have trained at a few different gyms for a few different martial arts, but never found one that felt completely right... until I found Rad Muay Thai. Everything about this place is amazing! The owners (Kru and his wife) and all of the coaches are incredibly helpful and kind. The training is intense, but in the best ways. There is not a "pay to level up" kind of mentality here and everyone is constantly doing there best to learn what they don't know, improve themselves, and help those in class with them. The diversity in this gym is unlike any other I have trained at and really makes the atmosphere wonderful. Truly, there is not a negative thing to say about this gym. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
My family and I have been at RMT for years, and it has been a truly wonderful experience—not only learning martial arts, but also becoming part of such a beautiful community. The Kru and his wife, who are the owners, are warm, kind, and welcoming, and he and his coaches are thorough, patient, and knowledgeable in their teaching and techniques. You get a great workout and gain a strong understanding of the martial arts taught here, but you also leave with a deep sense of respect and appreciation shown by everyone at this school. We’re so grateful to have been part of RMT for so long and to continue learning and growing with each class. Highly recommended and deeply appreciated! 👍👍
I came across this beautiful place after searching for a gym because I love MMA! After no one hit be back for days I got desperate and had no clue what Muay Thai was, Jennifer contacted me the same day I emailed and said that the first class was free. Ever since I've been hooked! I have a way deeper respect for the sport of Muay Thai and fighting in general, because I knew way less than I though I did. Kru Rad is the greatest teacher I think I could've came across, and I deeply respect him! As well as the other coaches as well! Everyones so friendly and there 00000 ego in that gym! That has also helped me grow as much as I have, the patience and willingness to correct form and technique, along with the grittiness, disciple and energy that he expects from the students. It absolutely drives me to get better! Thank you Kru Rad and Jennifer and all the other coaches!! - Gilbert
This gym and community has changed my life for the better. I started at rad Muay Thai when I was 20. I had recently gotten out of incarceration and was struggling with alcohol and substance abuse issues. I wasn’t to sure of who I am and where my future was headed. Due to the supportive and disciplined community at rad Muay Thai I am now a very confident stable man who is on the heels of walking down his dreams. This community has helped me so much outside of the gym and influenced me to better my life in majority of categories. I would recommend this gym to anyone who’s looking to make a life shift for the positive and find a safe community of bad ass people to surround themselves with
I’ve been training at RMT for three years now and my children have for nearly seven years. This gym has changed our lives. The family environment, community, skill development, empowerment, confidence, and more that we have gained from being a part of the RMT family is invaluable. We’ve had the opportunity to leave the state several times and have stayed, and a big part of the reason is RMT. Regardless of your age, gender, athletic abilities, relationship to combat sports or your level training, this is a wonderful place to call home.
