BRD Brazilian Jiu Jitsu reviews

Rated 5.0/5 across 43 Google reviews.

I dropped in for a class at BRD Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and had a great experience from start to finish. Sebastian Berti and Jared McCluskey are not only very skilled but also excellent teachers who explain techniques clearly and make sure everyone, no matter their level, can follow along and improve. The students were just as welcoming—highly skilled training partners who rolled hard but were also quick to share advice and small details that made a big difference. The class itself had a solid flow, with time to drill, ask questions, and get in good rounds of live training, which made it both challenging and rewarding. The overall vibe is friendly, supportive, and focused on helping you get better, and I left feeling like I learned a lot in just one session. I’d definitely recommend BRD to anyone looking for top-notch Jiu Jitsu instruction in a welcoming environment.
I cannot say enough good things about BRD. Both Jared and Sebastian offer a welcoming and professional environment. They both provide extremely technical, hands on guidance and are patient with everyone on the mats. I personally love the class format and how much time is spent drilling or rolling. Both instructors are analytical in their presentation of the move, and are constantly moving around the mats helping each group fully understand the task at hand. It feels like one on one attention for 90% of the class. Each training partner has also been welcoming, egoless and are great at matching strength when there is a size differential. The gym offers a rich, welcoming, and safe learning environment..... which I think is all you can ask for if you want to learn BJJ.
I work for a company that makes me travel to Colorado very frequently. I was bummed because I was missing my BJJ classes on a regular because of the travel. I happened to google BJJ classes near where I stay and decided to give BRD BJJ a try. Let me tell you when I say that I'm extremely pleased and happy with this establishment that is an understatement. Jared and his crew and super talented and make this sport easy to learn and advance with their expertise and patience. The kool part is that once in a while I bring the family on my work trips because I feel bad leaving them behind since I travel so frequently and they also offer kids classes!!! So my twin 8 year olds have a blast coming with dad to class. Thanks Jared for having such an awesome space to grow and i look forward to a long relationship with you and BRD BJJ.
The best BJJ in Colorado. From day one, the atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and motivating. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about teaching. They break down techniques clearly and give personal attention to every student, regardless of experience level. Sebastian and Jared are both top-notch instructors who know their stuff and truly care about your progress. They explain things in a way that makes sense, stay current with the latest techniques, and are always bringing in fresh, innovative approaches to training. The community here is one of the best parts. Everyone’s respectful, supportive, and focused on getting better. If you’re looking for a place to train, this is it. Whether you’re new to BJJ or have been training for years, you’ll feel right at home.
BRD is an AWESOME place to train. The curriculum is well thought out and clearly planned, so classes build on each other naturally. Sebastian and Jared do a great job teaching with attention to every student, no matter their experience level. Both the coaches and students are welcoming and encouraging, so you feel supported and challenged whether you’re brand new or more experienced. The gym culture is respectful of all ages, men and women, competitors and hobbyists alike, with a strong emphasis on safety and being a good training partner. It’s clear the coaches genuinely care about their students and the long-term health and progress of the team.
BRD BJJ is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever trained at. The environment is welcoming, the coaching is top-tier, and the training partners are both skilled and respectful. Whether you’re brand new to jiu-jitsu or professional fighter, this gym is for you. The instructors break down techniques clearly and are always happy to help you improve. It’s a tight-knit, ego-free community that really pushes you to be your best. Highly recommend!
