I’ve been going to GB Parker for about two months now. It’s been my first experience with BJJ after thinking about it for years. I couldn’t be happier that I found this place. What I love most is how passionate the entire staff is about jiu jitsu and helping their students learn. Any apprehension or intimidation that I felt went away as soon as I walked through the doors. I then brought my two daughters in for a trial class and they immediately wanted to sign up. Just one month in and their self-confidence is sky rocketing. Their attitudes have never been better and it’s brought us closer as a family (we talk jiu jitsu all the time and even practice at home!). I can’t recommend this place enough, the coaches are second to none!
Amazing family oriented gym where both kids and adults can get great Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. Coach Jen is awesome and very welcoming and Professors Colin and John and very knowledgeable and provide great instruction. I had the pleasure of training here during my time in Colorado and I would highly recommend GB Parker to anyone looking into starting their bjj journey.
We are so thankful that we found this gym. Coach Trey is great with the kids and is very dedicated to their training. He pushes them to challenge themselves, be disciplined, be good teammates and to strive for strong character on and off the mat. You won’t find a better coach anywhere in Colorado! The whole staff is wonderful. This is a great gym for a beginner, an advanced student who competes, and everyone in between.
We have about 3 full months in so far and it has been a fantastic experience. All of the coaches seem to care deeply about our individual progress and our son who was a die-hard "soccer and screens are my hobbies" kid LOVES to go without complaint. He even reminds us when he has class and helps with laundry to be prepared. He may never compete but I guarantee he is having fun while working hard and that is a massive win. I feel like he is "seen" there and is getting better technique each class and building confidence. The upper belts students in both kid and adult programs are very encouraging and cool people. Highly recommend!
Well ran franchise. Great coaches. Inclusive community. Standardized schedule so you know what's coming and how to get promoted. The kids and youth programs instill incredible values in young children. Those disciplines transfer to other areas of life and other sports. It's a worthy investment.
