Apex BJJ Academy in Vacaville has been an amazing fit for my son as he restarted his jiu jitsu journey. We looked all over Solano County, and this gym stood out immediately for its cleanliness, structure, and high-level instruction. The coaches break down every move with mastery, making it easy for kids to learn the details the right way from the start. Whether you are a hobbyist or someone who wants to compete, Apex delivers. It has a true family environment, but the level of coaching is world class. My son is improving fast, re-gaining confidence, and actually excited to train. Highly recommend Apex BJJ to anyone in the area.
Decided to try the free 2 day trial, asked our 5 year old son Antonio if he would like to keep on training. He quickly screamed yes and jumped into the air. Our son has always been shy, quiet, and slower at opening up to new things. So it shocked my husband and I when he said yes. Profesor Ramos and Coach Lester are wonderful with the kids. We enjoy how welcoming the environment is for us as parents and how the kids welcome and help each other out get better. Professor Ramos is very gentle, patient, and observing in every kids individual level. The gym is very clean, mats are always being cleaned. Wonderful place, I really would recommend to everyone to check this place out. Can’t wait for what the futurej holds for our kid, one thing is for sure, he’ll keep on learning a life skill from one the best professor Ramos.
Joining APEX was the best decision for me and my family. Everyone is very welcoming and super friendly. It doesn't matter what level you are in Jiu Jitsu, everyone should try it! And APEX is the perfect gym to start your families Journey. My Son is Autistic as well as very shy. Professor Cleidson is very patient and believes in all his students. Now my kids have improved and grown up so much since joining Professor Cleidson is a great teacher. He has a great knowledge in Jiu Jitsu and hes always willing to help if you have any questions, even if your a beginner or intermediate hes more than happy to help.

I was looking for a new workout that would challenge me, and this has been the perfect workout for my needs. What I love most is that you don’t need to be an expert to get started. The environment is incredibly welcoming, and everyone, from the students to the instructors, is amazing and always willing to help. This supportive atmosphere makes learning a lot less intimidating. Professor Ramos is an incredible instructor. He has a gift for teaching and breaks down every little detail so you can easily understand the techniques. His ability to simplify complex movements makes the learning process both effective and fun. If you're looking for a challenging workout and a supportive community, Apex is the place to be.

We’ve been doing bjj with Coach Cleidson for about 2 years now thanks to our good friends who recommended us to trial a class. We’re glad he has his own gym where he continues to teach our kids the skills they need in order to protect themselves if ever needed.
