I bring my 6 year old son here to train Jiu-Jitsu and he enjoys it. He has good training partners who push and challenge him and the instructors are world class. My son enjoys coming here multiple times a week to train with the kids group and really enjoys learning from all the instructors. If you live in the area do yourself a favor enroll your kid in this fun, bully free enviornment where they learn, self defense, self discipline, team work, how to interact with othere kids and anti bullying. Great job Lucas Leite Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu.
Great place to train if your looking for world class instruction right here in the I.e. then look no further with multiple world championships and other success in coaching ufc fighters such as vitor belfort etc. And professor mafra being an mma veteran himself I am fully confident in the instruction and knowledge professor lucas & Marcelo are passing on to us!! The gym is located in the same shopping center as the 24 hour gym. Great environment with wonderful and attentive coaches. I went to check out this place for my son to begin BJJ. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and reviewed the age groups and the time slots for training. The coaches also took the time to engage with my son who is super shy. The space is nice and spacious and there seems to be lots of children at this academy with a good amount of girls which was great to see. The gym was clean and had ample seating for parents and guests to sit.
Best place ever for top notch high level Brasilian jiu jitsu .Lucas is able to take super complicated jiujitsu position s and break them down so they are simple to both understand and do I would recommend fight studio to anyone interested in Brasilian jiu Jitsu as soon as it's allowed to open after the covid-19 restrictions have been lifted .I wish I had more hand s because I would give fight studio four thumbs up Jason
Great Place to train. I always go to fight studio when I'm in Upland. Very beginner friendly Academy, and also top notch training for those interested in competition. Professor Mafra and Professor Lucas Leite have brought an Amazing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy to the city of Upland. Highly recommend Fight Studio.
I’ve have been training for a number of months at Checkmat Upland and my experience has been amazing so far! I feel my jiujitsu has improved immensely and my training partners have become great friends of mine! I always look forward to training at checkmat upland!
