I couldn't be happier at Ohana. The price is very modest and the value that is offered here is second to none. It's a semi-traditional gym--you do NOT have to wear their gear, serve their black belts, do push-ups for being late, be forbidden to ask higher belts to roll, etc. There is no uniform, you can wear whatever you want. They sell merch, but they don't pressure students to buy anything. You can do heel hooks and knee bars at white belt, including in the Gi, (yes, students are advised how to be careful with such techniques). You are welcome to cross-train (ie, train at Ohana and anywhere else concurrently). The coaches are all respectable and respectful people. Ladies pick their training partners. I would trust my wife and nieces and nephews here. We have a very diverse crew of coaches and students, but we all value and share a respectful, friendly, and fun vibe. Whether it's Gi or No Gi, modern or old school fundamentals, there's
Ohana jujitsu is a great place to learn and elevate your martial arts skills art skills . I been training here since they opened and it’s by far the best gym I ever trained at! I love that they’re a no contract gym and with all the classes they offer I definitely feel like I’m getting the most bang for my buck here. Ohana has an amazing jujitsu schedule along with striking every week day. As well as judo 4 times a week and youth wrestling 3 times a week! I absolutely love training here and as a woman everyone makes me feel comfortable both on and off the mats. I also, attend the free women’s self defense classes and feel it’s making a difference in the community. This is truly an amazing gym for the whole family to train at. Join now it will change your life I promise!
I've been training at Ohana Jiu Jitsu Club since they opened in October 2023, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The coaches and members are incredibly kind and welcoming, creating an environment where everyone feels like Ohana. Their expertise in jiu jitsu is impressive, blending traditional techniques with contemporary strategies to provide a well-rounded learning experience. The gym itself is spotless, reflecting the care and attention given to its upkeep. The variety of classes offered, including judo, wrestling, striking, and self-defense, ensures that there’s something for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fighter. What truly sets this gym apart, though, is the positive atmosphere and encouragement from everyone involved. The good vibes and supportive community make every class enjoyable and motivating. If you're looking for a top-notch training facility where you'll grow both as a martial artist and as
As a part-time coach, I’ve experienced firsthand how much the owners genuinely care about their team and the community. It’s rare to find an academy where you feel this supported and respected. We’re also fortunate to be affiliated with the legendary Professor Johnny Faria, who visits throughout the year to provide instruction & mentorship. His guidance takes our training to the next level, and when we get the chance to visit his home academy in San Diego, we’re welcomed to train with an incredible team of world-class practitioners. It’s a real privilege to be part of that extended family. At Ohana, we’ve assembled a coaching team that covers all the bases—whether it’s Gi, No-Gi, wrestling, or Muay Thai, you’ll find top-level instruction in every discipline. The training here is on another level, and I’m proud to be a part of it. If you’re serious about your training and want to be part of a community that pushes you to be better, this
Ohana is definitely a world class Jiu Jitsu and striking gym in the inland empire. Coach Sean and all the staff are incredible. The amount of Jiu Jitsu details and instruction given has been priceless. In addition this gym also incorporates leg lock teaching early and safely which many gyms do not. Striking classes with coach Tony are a great workout which introduces kickboxing and Muay Thai concepts at any level from beginning all the way to MMA competitors. Would definitely recommend to anyone just starting their martial arts journey or who are seasoned competitors!! My kiddos also go here and can't get enough of the kids classes!
Ohana Jiu Jitsu Club is a fantastic environment and community with high level training in jiu jitsu and striking. I tried out a few other gyms in the area but found Ohana to offer the highest quality of Jiu Jitsu & striking instruction from knowledgeable coaches that are always active in their break down of technique and lessons. The classes are a great mix of fighters and hobbyists and is a very welcoming environment for people of all levels and interests.
