I’m from San Diego and I was visiting my wife’s family in Rialto, I was looking for a bjj gym to train at and Cobrinhas was the closest one in the area, the guy who teaches there I believe his name is Sapao was extremely cool and welcoming and didn’t even charge a mat fee for coming by to roll for 2 days, didn’t care what school I trained at b/c a lot of these schools get caught up in family history and so called “family beef” between different Jiu Jitsu gyms. It was nothing but good vibes, the gym and the matts were very clean everybody that trained there was extremely helpful and welcomed me in there, and Sapao the teacher was very good in teaching the minor details of every single move. This gym will be the gym I train at whenever I’m in town, and if your around the area I suggest you stop by, it’s a great gym with great people.
I took my kids here to train (12yr/17yr old) since I was in town for work. My kids are in the competition scene so we always try to find a good gym to train at when we are out of town. Our plan was to try several gyms in the San Bernardino area but we lucked out finding this gym so we didn’t look for any others. Professor Sapao was professional and a very knowledgeable black belt. We liked the way he breaks down techniques and situations. The facility was huge and even though there were a lot of students there was more than enough mat space. Overall just good vibes in the gym. Whether you are new looking to start BJJ or a seasoned competitor this is a great option and the place we would choose if we lived here.
My daughter absolutely loves coming here! The classes have helped my daughter come out of her shell and the coaches constantly motivate and support all our kids. The first face you usually see going in is Ariel in the office, she’s so polite, welcoming, and radiates positive energy at all times! Anytime the parents or children need anything at all, Ariel is always there to help. Sapão is great with kids and even got my 4 year old to join in on some practice! Overall, everyone here is extremely dedicated and passionate about teaching the students. I recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to enroll their children or even themselves because they offer adult classes too!
It's honestly one of the best places for kids, my kids have been with coach sapao since he used to teach at camp wolverine. this man is incredible hes a great teacher and also a friend to every kid that walks through those door and has a great line up of coaches(coach Monique , coach Cruz) that are there to help everyone with technique but most importantly to support and help them grow in and outside of BJJ I couldnt picture my kids being taught by anyone else.
My daughter absolutely loves her boxing and BJJ classes. The coaches are incredibly nice, welcoming, and always helpful. They create a friendly environment with a consistently positive attitude that makes everyone feel comfortable and supported. I also really appreciate how family-oriented the program is—they host lots of events that bring families together and make the experience even more special. Highly recommend!
This is a great gym for both adults and children to train. Very family friendly and family oriented. They offer boxing, wrestling, and jujitsu for all levels of experience.The coaches are professional. whether your looking good to compete, get in shape, or just train as a hobby this is definitely the place to be.
