I was originally looking for a place for my 6 yr old daughter to train Jiu Jitsu. It was brought to my attention that I could train with my daughter. I wanted to be an example for my daughter so I joined. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I fell in love with the sport and the people at rise Jiu Jitsu. The coaches believe in all of their students. Not to mention I have lost 10lbs while doing something I love. It is truly a family friendly environment. Everyone is welcome. Give Rise Jiu Jitsu a try, you won’t regret it.
I’m truly happy I found this school. My experience here has been nothing but positive in my training and in my interactions with coach Alex, Glenn, and Max. I am truly privileged to have met these people who have been encouraging not only in my training but also off the mat. I’ve trained in the past before elsewhere and really liked it. 10 years later, I decided to find a school and my intitial thoughts and feelings were very positive along with the training methods. What I’m referring to is a family friendly environment and simplified concepts that help me with my/our techniques. I look forward to coming to class and learning something new ever time I walk through the door.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Checkmat Murrieta and Checkmat Murrieta Exclusive. Professor Pantcho (the owner) treats everyone like family. All of the professors are absolutely amazing. Everyone is always so welcoming and unbelievably willing to help teach every person that walks through their doors. They do not mind if you are a seasoned grappler or if you have never even set a foot on a mat. They accept all levels, and will spend countless time and effort answering questions, as well as trying their absolute best to help you improve and perfect your game. I truly would not recommend any other academy to start at or to continue your Jiu-Jitsu path with.
Stopped by to check out this new local gym and found a new home. Very family orientated and Coach Alex and Glen aim to make it a very fun experience. I was invited to check out class on Saturday during the family session and completely blown away. My son(8 years old), was always afraid and nervous to train in an MMA gym. He instantly felt comfortable and asked to come next weekend! Thank you guys, at Rise Jiu Jitsu
Awesome gym! Our whole family trains here. Coaches are fun and amazing instructors. You can learn a lot in a relatively short time and practice rolling with the coaches and the others attending the gym. It's a very family oriented atmosphere. In fact, everyone there treats each other as family, very good learning environment
All I can say is “THANK YOU SOOO MUCH GENTLEMAN”!! Coach Alex, Coach Glen and Coach Max, you guys have made such a huge impact in my children’s and my life as well!! Everyone that’s part of the the gym has made my family and I feel like we’re part of their family!! The impact on our lives, in and out of the dojo, makes me feel so proud to watch my kids grow with amazing mentors!!🙏🙏
