My 2 sons (10 and 7) and I have been training at Tri-city for about 6 months now and I can tell you it has been the best decision we have ever made. The instructors keep the kids class a fun and safe learning environment with games to develop basic skills, encourage teamwork and foster leadership skills. My boys have never really been into sports, but they love going to BJJ at Tri-city where they have become part of an awesome community on and off the mat. My experience training at Tri-city has been phenomenal! Being 42 years old and a complete novice with martial arts I had my doubts my ability to start learning Jiu-jitsu. With the help of my 3 instructors my skills and technique are constantly improving, thanks in large part to their expertise, teaching style, and patience. After every class I leave feeling energized and accomplished. Jiu-jitsu has become a family sport and has brought my kids and I closer than ever. Oh, and they do h
This is a great place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu whether it be your first experience or a continued journey. For the last few years I dabbled with jiu jitsu attending a class here and there but didn't take it seriously until Tri city opened back in September. I have learned so much in the time I have been training and continue to learn. Jiu jitsu is like putting puzzle pieces together. It's fun, challenging, invigorating and liberating all at the same time. As a female I have gained more confidence in myself and the skills I have learned, especially knowing how to defend myself in any given situation. I have gained a new community of friends that have become my jiu jitsu family. All three instructors are amazing and highly skilled. They are patient with us students, especially on our off days and help us until we get it. I am so grateful to be a part of this team and community and am looking forward to mastering new skills and putting
Tri-City Jiu-Jitsu has been a great experience for my boys. Since they started, everyone has been really welcoming, respectful, and supportive. The coaches have created an environment that feels like family and at the same time helps the kids learn and grow every class. What I appreciate the most is how patient they are with the kids and how they really focus on building confidence, discipline, and respect on and off the mats. I’ve seen a big boost in both of my sons’ confidence, and they both enjoy coming to class every week. You can tell they really care about their students and the kind of culture they are building there. We’re grateful to be part of it and would highly recommend Tri-City Jiu-Jitsu to anyone looking for a positive place to train.
Tri-City Jiu-Jitsu is an incredible place. From the moment you walk in, it truly feels like a little community. The coaches are amazing and make everyone feel like they’re part of the family. They are caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the kids. What I love most is how much the kids support one another. They learn from each other, look up to each other for advice, and constantly encourage one another—especially when preparing for competitions. It’s a very positive and motivating environment. My son has been attending for over six months now and absolutely loves it. He recently had his first competition, and the coaches were fantastic in supporting him through the whole experience. We are very proud to be part of this team. If you’re looking for a place where kids build confidence, learn discipline, and feel supported, Tri-City Jiu-Jitsu is truly an amazing place to be.
This school opened a few months ago, and my kids (ages 8 and 10) absolutely love it here. The owners/instructors are the nicest people in the world, and really care about teaching the kids technique and discipline. It is the perfect balance of exercise, training, sparring, and fun for them. My kids never seemed to be interested in doing anything other than playing on their computers until now! Our family and other families who have their kids train here have tried other local jiujitsu establishments before, and we all are by far happier here. This feels like the best environment full of positive role models for our kids. We could not be any happier with our choice to train here!
