If you are considering Jiu Jitsu this is the place! I love the fact it has a 6am class. I work a weird schedule so I can get my training in early in the morning. Professor Jose Andrade has a wealth of knowledge in both bjj and judo. The classes are very affordable compared to other places. Jiu Jitsu is great for weight loss, stress, and, most importantly, self defense.
Brand new to BJJ and hsd my first class yesterday and wow! The training is intense but never to the point of not being fun. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful and made me feel part of the family as soon as I stepped on the mat. Everyone is very helpful and will push you to new standards! My body is sore but I can't wait to go back! Definitely look forward to many more sessions! If you ate looking to start training I highly recommend this gym!
The people here are great. Hardly any egos. Everyone looks out for each other, everyone is trying to learn. The coaches are really cool. They are skilled instructors, great technique but also able to push someone lazy and out of shape like me to do better. If you're already an athlete, they got you, if not, you will be if you stick to it. I'm learning Jiu Jitsu here and it's made a huge difference for me mentally and physically. Go for it!
I love this place, I have been training here for the last 6 years. Coach Cassie and Professor Jose are amazing people, always willing to help you out if you are willing to put your part, with that said I managed to loose 40 pnds within 6 months. It is a friendly environment, everyone is always willing to help each other out. Turns out I made a family here.
Well me personally Im not in the class but i have both of my boys and they love it they get excited to go to class my son damion he didn't want to go but after a while he got more into it and today i found out his doing good im happy to here that the instructors r doing a good job with my boys keep up the good work.
Great place. Great, expert, and knowledgeable instructors. Great for kids and adults. Great for the community. Great workouts. Great if you want to learn a martial art and get in really good physical shape. Feels like family.
