Easily one of the best decisions i’ve made to improve my mental and physical health. I’ve currently been training for almost a full year now and can confidently say this gym is a hidden gem. Great community for adults or kids with structured programming and world class jiu jitsu. Professor Victor has great morales and values that strives you to become a better overall individual. There’s a place for anybody whether you are trying to just get in shape, try a new hobby, or compete. Highly recommend to anyone that is even slightly interested.
This place is a rare jewel. The master must have been from a great training house in Brazil, as I saw two world champions trained today at this facility. The young woman in white uniform is a three-time champ. I like this dojo also because it s new and, as a result, doesn t have a lot of students. (We checked out a place on westminster blvd some years earlier and it had way too many students, yet the fee was very high.) The master whose name is Victor seems to be very nice, warm, and genuine. This martial art discipline is great for girls. My daughter has 2 black belts in Tae Kwon Do but she must learn Jiu Jitsu to defend herself successfully (and break some bones) when someone bigger and stronger tries to pin her down.
TMD House is an amazing BJJ gym! Professor Victor is absolutely outstanding—his teaching style is both patient and motivating, always pushing you to improve and become the best version of yourself. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. The kids’ class is a fantastic learning environment, helping children develop confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills. I highly recommend giving a class a try—you won’t regret it!
I received my blue belt over 21 years ago and had to quit because I suffer from severe lower back pain. I recently decided to get back in to the sport except now I have other injuries due to father time. Professor Victor and the team have been very patient and understanding of my condition. It's been a challenge to train and there is a lot of anxiety when I step on the mat. However, everyone at the gym are humble and extremely helpful.
