This place deserves more than 5 stars. My son loves going to My son went for a trial class but it was too advanced for him. A few days later, Anthony sent me and email and said he is opening up a beginner class for his age group. Wow, I didn't expect that, but that's how much he cares about kids. Now, my son loves going to Aikido every everytime. He has so much fun with Sensei Anthony. Sensei incorporates discipline and fun at the same time. He is also very patient in guiding and focusing kid's attention while motivates kids in a fun way to do their best. Me and my son both truly enjoy going to this dojo. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend coming for a trial class. I promise you won't regret it.
I would give 10 stars if I could to Anthony Campagna Sensei and his Tri City Aikido Dojo. We enrolled our son when he was 5 years old to gain confidence and learn Aikido when he was bullied in his previous school. Campagna Sensei exceeded our expectations. For his high rank and decades of experience, he easily translates the technical and complex moves to the kids. He has a very good balance of instilling discipline (paying attention, listening, respect) and having fun with the kids (games and jokes). Also, he challenges the kids in the right way by making them responsible to find their own "uke" (partner) in the class that will help them prepare for the next belt level test. Thank you Campagna Sensei for your dedication to this martial art and to our kids!
I am glad that I found Tri City Aikido. I am extremely pleased with the experiences that I have had at this school. At first, I don't really know what Aikido is. The more I am trained here, the more I enjoy Aikido. The training includes empty hand and weapons techniques. The instructors and the students are very friendly and courteous. Campagna Sensei has a tremendous knowledge of martial arts, and he is talented in Aikido. I am very grateful to the training taught at Tri City Aikido. If you are interested in martial arts training, I would recommend Tri City Aikido.
My daughter and I began attending classes at this dojo six months ago and we are thrilled with our experiences. The dojo provides separate classes for children and adults. My daughter is enrolled in the children's class and thoroughly enjoys it, listing Aikido as one of her favorite activities alongside her music classes. Sensei, who holds a 5th degree black belt, is not only an expert in Aikido but also a master communicator, especially when dealing with children. His teaching style is engaging and effective, making the learning process enjoyable and easy to grasp. Personally, I find that I am learning more than just Aikido. Overall, our experiences have been highly rewarding and I am eager to continue this journey.
Anthony sir is absolutely the best, we love attending class to watch how he makes learning fun! Commendable technique , execution and tons of patience:) Teaching a form of martial art is certainly no child's play..we look forward to seeing disciplined, confident and motivated children as a result of his playful, structured and professional format! His humor, wisdom & enthusiasm rubs off on the kids too:) thank you for your energy and dedication, we honestly appreciate your spirit to provide this clean environment for the future of tri-city! Kudos to growing in the Bay Area by leaps and bounds :)
Sensei Anthony is very experienced in teaching and knows how to guide and focus children's attention. I am an experienced physical therapist. Both of my children have attention deficit problems. My eldest daughter also attended the dojo for more than three years 14 years ago. Not only did her physical strength improve, but she also achieved good results in her studies. My youngest son, now six years old, has also started Aikido training, and I have noticed obvious improvements in his ability to follow instructions in school. I highly recommend Anthony's Aikido course. Not only the children enjoyed the class, but the parents also laughed happily watching their children's reactions and performances.
