Visited Double Five on vacation hoping to get some BJJ training in. Westin and the other coaches were super friendly and welcoming, and the classes were really well taught. I'm gutted I didn't bring my wrestling kit because the wrestling class looked great too! As for the venue, there's a lot of mat space and dedicated changing rooms and a shower which was great after visiting another gym that didn't have the latter two. Even though I was on vacation I wish I'd had more time to train at Double Five!
I couldn't be happier with my experience at this jujitsu gym. The kids' class here is exceptional, providing a supportive environment for young learners. The instructors are skilled, patient, and create a perfect balance of discipline and fun. As for the adult class, it's a fantastic environment filled with knowledgeable instructors. Whether you're a beginner or advanced practitioner, you'll feel welcomed and motivated to excel. This gym truly offers an outstanding experience for both kids and adults. Highly recommended!
I travel for work and drop into a lot of gyms to keep up my training and to experience different coaches. So I get to roll in a lot of BJJ gyms. I came to their 6:15 NoGi class and was warmly welcomed by the Collins brothers. These guys really breathe this stuff. Lots of energy and a fun, clean and relaxed atmosphere. There was a big focus on the students with a good deal of rolling. As with most gyms there was a big mix of skill level and there was an effort to make sure that everyone was paired appropriately in the sparring. Lots to like about this place! If you are considering starting BJJ or boxing, seriously consider this gym.
