⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! Black Lion MMA is an outstanding place to train! The gym offers a very positive and welcoming environment, making it an ideal spot not just for learning martial arts but also for making new friends. The coaches are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, always pushing you to do your best while ensuring you have fun and stay motivated. Whether you're a beginner (like me) or an experienced fighter, you'll find the training sessions both challenging and rewarding. Being active has never been this enjoyable! Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their skills and join a great community.
Really love this place! I really do !!!Started a little over 4 months ago, and have discovered a new passion for Muay Thai ! Jiu Jitsu ! Coaching Toco is great !He's helped me develop a ton since I've been there . Gym vibes are great, everyone is part of the family. All the people of here are amazing and nicely and friendly, We work hard and we play hard! Come try a class, nothing is stopping you! Very open welcoming, no one gets judged here! Great place for all levels!
This place is like a hidden gem in the Keller community for adults and children who wish to learn more about practical self defense and MMA practices. It helps you are being taught by a professional Brazilian fighter. Within the first session, my daughter was able to execute a straight, hook, and knee combo. This was made possible by the small and intimate class sessions. Coming home from her first free session, she wanted to continue practicing a few things on me. As a father witnessing the sparking joy and passion to practice what she was taught is something I’ll always support. MMA just happens to be one of them. The employees are also so kind! They are inclusive with their gatherings and MMA community of mothers.
Great gym and great coaches. Professor “Toco” is world class in his Muay Thai and MMA training, and he cares about his students while pushing us to train hard. Professor Chris does a great job of breaking down No-Gi Jiu Jitsu moves for beginners, and still making things spicy for the higher belts. Gym has a great atmosphere and a great community.
As someone who was never athletic or in shape, I was very nervous for my first class. But Professor Toco excels at tailoring his classes to suit multiple skill levels at once, and I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. Finally, a type of exercise that doesn't feel like a chore! I've been training under Professor Toco for just over two years now. He is great at motivating me and his other students to push past our limits, and as a result, I have evolved from a couch potato into the best shape of my life. Now, I can't imagine not having Black Lion as a regular part of my weekly routine. If you've ever considered trying a martial art but weren't sure if it was right for you, I encourage you to check out Black Lion. Whether you're in shape or out of it, everyone is welcome.
Coach Toco is one of the best coaches I have had the privilege of learning from. His teaching style is authentic and will push you to where you need to be. He is understanding from beginners to professional. You will quit on your self before he quits on you, which is what makes him great! Truly believes in you and does not make you feel like just another student at a gym. If you’re looking to gain real skill along with getting in shape, I will always recommend Coach Toco
