Rampage Jiu-Jitsu Academy reviews

I recently joined Rampage Jiu Jitsu Gym, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the members, making me feel instantly welcomed and part of the jiu jitsu family. One of the standout qualities of Rampage Gym is how beginner friendly it is. As a newcomer to jiu jitsu, I was initially apprehensive, but the instructors and members went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and supported. They patiently guided me through the basics, providing clear explanations and demonstrating techniques with precision. I never felt overwhelmed or excluded, thanks to their inclusive teaching approach. David, the head instructor at Rampage Gym, is an absolute gem. His vast knowledge of jiu jitsu is truly impressive, and he has an incredible ability to break down complex movements into understandable steps. David's passion for jiu jitsu is contagious,
I just wanted to reach out to those in the Argyle/Denton area and let them know about how David runs operation here at Rampage Jiu-Jitsu. First things first... make the step and try it. Everyone here, is here to learn and grow. Now with that out of the way, Rampage Jiu-Jitsu is a place were beginners are welcome and treated with the utmost respect. David brings a relaxed atmosphere and an experienced mind set that welcomes all levels, even towards kids classes. David's students are eager to learn and wanting to prosper just like any other martial art discipline. Rampage Jiu-Jitsu has a large mat space that ensures everyone has space to roll and spare. David is extremely proactive on cleaning the mats and providing all gear needed for participation. Including, a week of trial classes that covers Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. Rampage Jiu-Jitsu is a family atmosphere, in that David's family is constantly rolling and participating in classes. Wi
After my initial practice with David ( the professor ) I was sold. Simply put, he did not try to sell his services. David goes above and beyond training his students. I am no longer apart of his gym, but as a personal testimony, the atmosphere is filled with nothing but humility, joy, and an overall friendly “ try to take each other’s head’s off “ atmosphere. The gym is filled with individuals who are all students no matter belt, or size. Students who help other students conquer their insecurities, and instill confidence, humility, and sometimes unheard wisdom. Although my tenure at Rampage Jiu-Jitsu was shorter than expected. I can personally attest to David, and his wife’ character. Both great individuals and teachers. If you have any doubt, or insecurity of starting a new outlet ( jiu-jitsu in particular ) this is the gym for you. There is no intimidation factor with starting at this gym. The old saying is quality over quantity. That
I met David when he was a Brown belt at RMA, my son felt a strong bond with David. So when he opened up his own academy. We have come to learn. He has a friend Ethan who joined for a bit. Still texts me about his interest in coming back. His knowledge, excitement, enthusiasm for teaching others shows. His wife and kid’s. Everyone one at the school is a reason to go. I highly recommend David, I have a dead spot on my frontal lobe. My son has asbergers so we belong to RMA. Yet we still drop in to catch classes. David’s Juijitsu is exceptional, his work ethic is too. I highly recommend Rampage Juijitsu!🤙🏻
Been going here for about 8 months now and have never looked back. The only thing I regret is not starting sooner. The place is cleaned every single day thoroughly. David, the professor, is a great instructor who lets his experience and attitude do the selling. He’s not a hustler or a businessman out to make a quick buck. He is truly passionate about what he teaches and so far I love it here. The whole attitude of the gym is one of humility and humbleness. Everyone is treated the same whether you’re a purple belts, a blue belt, or just starting out as a no stripe white belt. Give this place a shot. You won’t regret it.
An amazing place for kids to learn self defense and discipline while also having fun! The best part about this gym is the wonderful family environment-- my youngest is already bursting at the seams to join his older sister on the mat. Awesome perk: Mom's train for FREE. I've taken advantage of this and I'm so grateful for all that I have learned and the patience they have to teach a total newbie like me.
