I highly recommend Cloud 9 MMA as one of the top choices for Martial Arts gyms in DFW! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced student, this school & the coaches here are absolutely great & knowledgeable at what they do. Coach Viet, along with other coaches here, are very respectful & excellent at keeping progress with their students. Making sure that every student becomes the best version of themselves, on & off the mats. The atmosphere here is always welcoming and lively. The facility is very clean, and mats are sanitized frequently. Large training space with lots of room to practice grappling and striking. At the end of the day, knowing that you're not alone and always having a team you can trust & count on is a great feeling!
My kids age 4 and 5 have been training here since opening, and I am amazed at the complete transformation in their physical abilities. Thank you to all the coaches. My kids are too young to grasp the combat element of the sport, but the difference it has made in their everyday physical abilities is enormous. If you're considering this for your kids, you won't be disappointed. Coach Viet and ALL of the others who help out with the kids classes are like family to my kids.
By far the best MMA gym I’ve registered my kids in. The Muay Thai coach (Coach Alex) is a participating instructor and doesn’t just give instruction and walk away. He makes sure you’re learning correctly to avoid injury and have a better experience. The owner (Coach Viet) is also on the mat teaching and is on target with keeping the little students engaged. The coaches don’t treat you like a subscription. They teach and treat you like a community. I appreciate what my kids are learning here. It’s not just a workout. It’s a Martial Art to take with them forever.
I came in as a drop in from another gym and the Coach, staff, and students here at Cloud Nine MMA were beyond welcoming. The instructors are not only incredibly skilled but also passionate about teaching and helping each student grow. They take the time to ensure that everyone, regardless of skill level, feels comfortable and challenged. The classes are well-structured, blending the technique that was drilled in class with practical live rounds. I love the encouraging and supportive community here, it's a great environment to learn and train and I would highly recommend!
I figured 🧐 I'd do some solid research 📖 on a martial arts school that suited my specific interests and expectations within the world 🌎 of Martial Arts before signing up to reenter and continue a passion, unforeseeably interrupted. Life... how great the grand, even the not so! Expectations are high. Not just teaching how to strike, defend, counter, clinch, throw, you know it continues... Teaching the Mauy Thai technique; the why, how, when, where, etc. A solid core on respect for the art, comrades, and the mat. It's an institute 👨‍🏫; yes, because in my opinion, a gym or school is an understatement. Coach, Viet is clearly passionate about Martial Arts 🥋 his willingness to train, ways of instructing, teaching a phenomenon and art, which resignates throughout the team. Definitely good energy 🔋 and vibe 📈 for those that are passionate 💜 about the art. I truly enjoy the mix up of warm up, technical, and shadowbox exercises. The inclusion of
Great place to train your body and mind, ginormous space to train and master your craft, great people/ teammates. Amazing coaches from BJJ, Muaythai, Boxing. Especially Viet (BJJ coach) knowledgeable in his craft, passionate about how to help his students to be better very time we are on the mat. Highly recommended!!!!
