Outstanding Experience at Fight Zone Jiu-Jitsu TN! The environment is incredibly welcoming and supportive, making it easy for newcomers to feel at home. Gabriel Rial, the head coach, is not only an excellent instructor but also a fantastic mentor who genuinely cares about his students' progress and well-being. The classes are well-structured, catering to all skill levels from beginners to advanced practitioners. The instructors are passionate and knowledgeable, always ready to help and provide personalized feedback. The focus on discipline, respect, and self-confidence is evident in every session, and it's inspiring to see how much everyone grows both on and off the mat. I dropped in at Fightzone after a friend invited me to train, and I was blown away. The gym is super clean, with multiple bathrooms, an easy check-in system, and a front desk full of gear. There’s even a family viewing area so parents can watch without crowding the mats. Classes have an awesome mix of beginners and experienced grapplers, and the atmosphere is welcoming for everyone — even families with little ones. I’ve been training a few years and felt right at home. I got great rounds in, learned a ton, and even rolled with the owner and head black belt — a skilled, humble instructor who clearly cares about his students. If you’re looking for a clean, family-friendly jiu jitsu gym with great coaching and a positive culture, Fightzone is the place. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll be welcomed and challenged here.
This is an outstanding place to practice jiu jitsu. The environment is welcoming to new people just starting and has plenty of higher belts if you want to be more competitive as well. Professor Gabriel is the head instructor and has a proven record in BJJ training in Brazil and competing in the US. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. As someone in law enforcement, training in BJJ is something I take more serious than just for hobby or fitness and I absolutely trust Professor Gabriel with my training. My daughter also used to go to Professor Gabriel and the kids class is fantastic! She only left because she wanted to try some other sports and the schedule conflicted, but she’s wanting to return. Don’t hesitate to attend a trial class and see for yourself! This location is new but Professor Gabriel has been teaching for a long time, just go you won’t regret it.
I can’t say enough good things about Fightzone Jiu-Jitsu! My son has been training there since he was 10, and it has truly been a transformative experience for him. Professor Gabriel and his staff, has a remarkable way with kids. He’s not only incredibly skilled in Jiu-Jitsu, but he also knows how to engage and motivate young learners. Under his guidance, my son has developed a love for the sport that I never thought possible. He’s made significant improvements not only in his fitness level but also in his skills during competitions. The positive environment at Fightzone has helped him build confidence both on and off the mat. I've been training with Professor Gabriel for 4 years. Times goes fast. It's a healthy gym with a great mix of age, gender, experience levels, and all walks of life. Its a great place for you and your kids to grow, learn, and challenge yourself. Even though Fight Zone is new to the area and continuing to grow and refine the space, the people here aren't. Gabe and his coaching team bring years of experience in Jiu-Jitsu and coaching in general. Their commitment to the sport and each person that walks through the door is second to none. With out Gabriel and the culture he's built I would be a very different person. You're the same person today as you will be in 5 years with the exception of the people you meet and the books you read. You will not be disappointed joining up!
My kids started under Professor Gabriel both at age 3, and have continued their training with him for several years. They started competing successfully at age 4 & 5, and they continue to learn, grow and build confidence and strength as well as a positive mindset. Jiu jitsu is very different than team sports and there are so many benefits. I believe it will be a life long sport for my kids & we will always choose for them to train under professor Gabriel and the coaches at Fight Zone. It’s a community, and we highly recommend!!
