I had been wanting to get my 5yo into a martial arts schools. So, for my birthday I received a trial membership for my son. It was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten and one that continues to give. Mr. Wright (and staff) are 110% involved with the students and classes. Welcoming all abilities, ages and skill levels are welcomed and it's not just a school, it's a family. The instructors are incredible in not only their knowledge of the art of Taekwando but also their interaction with and teaching of the students. My son is always excited and eager to be there and brings the lessons he's learned home with him and into everyday life; regarding bullying, confidence, respect, listening, etc. It's amazing how far he's been able to progress under the tutelage of Mr.Wright and his awesome staff of instructors and student helpers who work side by side with the class to make sure every student excels. Yes, they are going to learn some really
We were amazed and shocked… in the best way possible!! Karate for Kids, Wright’s Martial Arts and the instructors are the best in any kids activity anywhere! My son has mild autism - started at 3 years old - and he's now 15. He has blossomed into a strong, confident leader. He's a starter on his football team and track... just got all A's in high school his freshman year... and has lot's off friends! I truly believe this is all because he walked in that school when he was three. Thanks Karate for Kids and Wright’s Martial Arts!!! You have really helped him grow into a strong confident man!! Any parent who is thinking about having their child do martial arts at Wright’s Martial Arts needs to stop thinking and get started – I am so glad I started my son at 3 and didn’t wait till he was older. This was the best thing – by far – that I have ever done for my kid!
This is now under new ownership - now Ko's ATA (formerly Wright's ATA). We joined this school right before the big Covid outbreak this year. Our young daughter loved everything so much from day 1 so we signed her up. The Ko family and staff have been incredible, even when we are now required to socially distance and stay at home, they have found great ways to try to motivate the kids, zoom classes and challenges. We miss the in-person feel of love and warmth from the Kos but they're doing an incredible job keeping things up given the circumstances. We hope one day soon we can go back to in-person classes.
Our granddaughter Baylieh, a resident of Dallas, Texas, has expressed immense satisfaction with the education she has received at this institution. During the summer last year, we approached Mr. Noel, seeking assistance for Baylieh, who had unfortunately become a victim of bullying at her school. Her self-confidence had significantly diminished, and she desired to learn self-defense skills. We are delighted to report that Baylieh not only acquired these skills but also experienced a remarkable boost in her self-confidence. We are immensely grateful to Mr. Noel for providing Baylieh with the opportunity to become a "Summer Student," and we are proud to witness her progress and advancement in rank. On behalf of Baylieh and our entire family, we extend our sincere gratitude to TNT MARTIAL ARTS and Mr. Travis Noel for their exceptional guidance and support.
Wrights ATA Martial Arts is so much more than just a Martial Arts school. They encourage their students to do well in school and within the community. I have witnessed some of the shiest kids become more confident and practice better self control. The instructors really work with the students and encourage them to achieve their goals. I can guarantee you will not find another Martial Arts school with the qualities and character development that Wright's ATA Martial Arts has!
My son attends TNT and it has been a blessing in our lives. Master Noel not only teaches discipline, but he cares for all the members of his studio. He teaches the children how to deal with real life school issues, such as bullying. His care for the kids goes beyond the studio. He encourages his students to excel in all aspects of their life and celebrates their accomplishments. He has created a studio in which the kids have formed friendships even though they live in different communities. At tournaments, the children are supported by their peers.
