Odin’s Halls Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Oregon reviews

Rated 5.0/5 across 33 Google reviews.

I met Coach Anthony back in 2019 when my children started training at Odin's Halls in Las Vegas, Nv. I'm a mom with 3 kids and was looking for a sport that would teach them self defense, resilience and tenacity. I'd sit on the sidelines so impressed with their development. One day I got the courage to step out on the mats and join the adult class with a few other moms who braved the challenge with me. We became Odin's Halls "Shewolves". Back then, Coach Anthony was a purple belt training and assisting Professor Steve Ficca on the mats and he always made me feel welcome to learn and grow. Coach Anthony showed me it was possible to withstand the challenge of grappling and how to survive amongst a room full of big scary guys. HE NEVER TOOK AWAY FROM A LESSON SIMPLY BECAUSE IM A FEMALE AND ALWAYS PUSHED ME TO FINISH STRONG, NO MATTER HOW HARD IT GOT. Now, I am a confident Jiu Jitsu practitioner who has a ton of fun training and can protect
People of Oregon: run, don’t walk, to sign up and train with Coach Anthony. He is one of the most knowledgeable people I know who trains BJJ. While training together at the original OH in Las Vegas, he always pushed me to keep going no matter how tired or stuck I was in a bad position during a round. Whether you are just starting your BJJ journey or have a few years experience, Coach Anthony can tailor a program to meet your training needs. Please take advantage of this opportunity to train and learn from a BJJ savant. You won’t regret it!
If I could give Odins Halls Oregon 6 stars I absolutely would. I’ve sporadicly attended a few different schools over the years and Odins halls has topped them all. How has it topped them all? -First, coach Anthony is professional and personable. He is very detailed during teaching and very observant while rolling. His constructive advice is welcoming and humbling. -Second, cleanliness isn’t something taken lightly at Odins halls. The mats are always clean and everyone works to keep it that way. -Third, everyone in class is welcoming and fun to be around as well as eager to Learn and help each other learn and practice safely. Ive had an awesome experience here so far and look forward to continue to improve and be a good student of Jiu Jitsu.
If you have the opportunity to train with Coach Anthony take it. When I was first starting out he taught me several techniques, ideas, and mindsets that I still use to this day. Much like the OG odins halls in las vegas, this location is THE spot for learning jiu jitsu. I would not have been tapping upper belts as soon as I was with out the coaching available here. If I could I would live in a van and travel back in forth between las vegas and oregon to train at these locations. Heres a story, one day I told Coach Anthony "im not gonna let you triangle me." He triangled me 12 times in 4 minutes. Train here.
Best decision we've made. This is a treasure chest. This place has a wealth of knowledge waiting to be tapped into. If you have any doubts, just drop them and come and see for yourself. If you don't, you WILL have just cheated yourself. Coach Anthony is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and everyone, child to adult, has something to add. The atmosphere and respect are 2nd to none. My child and I both go and will never look back. These are the golden days and if you don't join soon you will regret it. Come and join the family. Watch your kids grow into self dependent young adults. The difference will show for itself. This is an investment in you, your children, and your family. Quite frankly, you can't afford not to make.
If you're looking for a great environment, wonderful community, and one of the best instructors in the business, come join the family at Odin's Halls! Coach Anthony is an amazing BJJ instructor and constantly proves his heart is in the sport! I've done many different martial arts over the years... But this is where I call home. I can't wait for the next time I can step on the mat and learn from him and his school!
