The partners I train with are like family. Jiu Jitsu is a journey, I would not want my journey to be with anyone else. The black belt instruction is top notch and it’s very detail oriented training. This is the best deal in town to train. just become an elk and you get free training and all the elk other activities that come along with it too.
Came in not knowing what to expect, and found a new home gym. The head coach, and the brown belts are all very high caliber upper belts, and that skill level lends itself to a very strong showing all the way down to the lower belts. Detailed instruction, with individual advice from the head coach, and encouraging environment. I’ve really been enjoying training here, and welcome anyone to become an elk, and jump in to train, and spend some time in the Lodge, too!
Great training environment, professional instructors, friendly people to train with. An awesome addition to the Elks community. Come check it out.
I have watched students getting trained and practice. The couches not only teach them the roles of the sport, they teach them discipline, dedication, and respect. I have seen it firsthand. Very family oriented environment. To become an Elk is like becoming part of the history of this town.
Amazing foundational training and technique development. Elks has a great community and caring instructors. Also a clean space.
I'm new to the Portland area but not new to Jiu-Jitsu. I've been hopping around looking for a gym with high-level training partners and a good vibe. Happy to say I found a place.
