I have trained at many academies, and have never been in a nicer, classier facility. The stunning facility is only surpassed by the quality of instruction found here. Alan Teo is a first class instructor and stand up guy. He has handpicked a variety of instructor who are not only world-class practitioners of BJJ, but are talented instructors. This is often a hard combination to find. The members of the academy are warm and welcoming to all. There is a large range of talent and ranks found here. For a newer school, it is a nice surprise to find so many higher ranks (who are very helpful!). The children's class is fun and exciting for the little ones. You can sharpen your Judo talents here, as well with an Olympic coach. Muay Thai is also offered, as well as MMA training. As a woman, this school provides self defense and builds confidence, without feeling like you are an outsider at a "boys club." I highly recommend this facility to all a
Great instructors and people. My son and I have been training at Teo's bjj for a couple of months now and wonderful things are happening. I mean, many times you get to have 6-7+ black belts on the mats. Not only that, but the quality of bjj knowledge your mind absorbs is mind blowing. We have world class athletes like Prof. Alan Teo, Jamie Cruz, Rick, Sideco Honor, Lincoln Pereira, Derrick Doyle, Clark Ayala, just to mention a few. I mean it is really impressive to see so many different styles you can choose from to incorporate them into your game. Fort Lee and Woodland Park academies are excellent places to expand your bjj skills. So, don't wait!!! Stop by and experience the best of the best in bjj that these schools offer.
