Bronx Jiu-Jitsu is a safe and clean place to train Jiu-Jitsu. I have been training proudly for over 8 years at BxJJ. I consider Professor Junior (the owner) to be my brother. The instructions I have received from Junior, Luis and Michael have been life changing to say the least. They each provide a unique perspective and approach to Jiu-Jitsu. My personal life has also been positively impacted by Bronx Jiu-Jitsu. My confidence and overall stamina has improved drastically. I would recommend this place to anyone at any stage in life especially if you are looking to achieve a deeper shelf awareness. See you on the mats... Oss 🤙🏾
This place has become second home for my kids, from the events at the school to training multiple times a week. As a parent I can’t ask for a better place to have my kids learn jiu jitsu, life lessons, veggie reports and ninja ball!. The coaches are amazing and they handle the kids really well! My kids have progressed in bjj so much and I’m really proud of them and the Bxjj school. Please drop in for information or call and see you on the mats…
Bronx Jiu-Jitsu is my all-time favorite place to be! I was welcomed to be part of a family that is well-knit, supportive, and caring. Obviously, I couldn't have learned so much without the help and support of my coaches, so the motivation and push to be greater and better is consistent while training here. Without a doubt, I couldn't have found a better place to base my Jiu-Jitsu foundations from. If you're looking for a new place to train or you're just starting out, look no further than Bronx Jiu-Jitsu!
I was visiting from Florida and had the chance to train here for a day. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and respectful. The instruction was detailed, the training was challenging, and the atmosphere was friendly while still being competitive. It’s clear that the coaches care about their students’ development and that the team has built a strong culture. I felt like part of the academy even though I was only there for one session. If you’re in the Bronx and looking for quality Jiu-Jitsu, I highly recommend stopping by. Looking forward to training here again whenever I’m back in New York.”
My daughter has been attending BJJ weekly since September 2025. A 3 day package has turned into a weekly obsession for my daughter. At 6 she is excited to wake up early to go to class and my husband is delighted to take her. it's their time together. The hubby reports that the coaches promote inclusiveness and the instructors are attentive of individual students in spite of the fact that they have big groups. Coach Lopez is consistently disciplined, structured and its what our daughter needs. I wish we could take her to more classes as she would thrive in this environment. A gold mine in the boogie down Bronx for the kiddos in our community.
