Joining Gregor Gracie’s Academy has been one of the best decisions I've made in my Jiu-Jitsu journey. From the moment you step on the mats, you’re immersed in a culture of excellence, respect, and constant growth.

The coaching here is second to none. Training under Gregor Gracie and his elite team of instructors is a privilege. They bring a wealth of high-level competition experience, deep technical knowledge, and an ability to teach that’s both clear and motivating. Every detail matters here—and it shows.

What truly sets this academy apart is the sheer number of high-quality classes offered every week. Whether you're a beginner learning the fundamentals or an advanced practitioner preparing for competition, there’s a class for you—morning, afternoon, and evening. The variety and flexibility make it easy to build consistency, which is key to real progress in Jiu-Jitsu.

The environment is positive, disciplined, and d
First let me say I’ve been doing Bjj for over 25 years and hold a black belt. I’ve had amazing world class instructors over the years…. This school humble yet pretty is definitely at a world class training level. Not only are all the instructors phenomenally knowledgeable with attention to detail… for both beginner to advanced, to competition preparedness, to safe sparring -the school has great overall etiquette, cleanliness, and respect which I find essential in all martial arts training and mastering the mind.

Additionally impressive, having historically often been the only female on the mats with all men, is that there are many female students here, with several of us black belts. This is a sign of a healthy school.

Lastly,, I’d also recommend this particular school for those over age 35/40 wanting to start later in life but intimidated. Bjj is becoming a very popular training activity, for good reason. Having a safe tr
I started training at Gregor Gracie Jiu-jitsu after the dojo I had been training at for 9 years closed. I, and a bunch of students from my old school were looking for a new place to train. We were looking for a school with the same vibe where everyone feels like family. This is what we found here at Gregor's.

Regardless of whether or not you have experience in BJJ, they welcome all students and treat everyone with the same care and respect. The instructors are top notch and very approachable and really care about the journey and progress of all their students. The students are very friendly and support each other and consist of every belt level and age. All seem very skilled, from the white belts all the way to the higher belts which is a testament to the level of teaching provided.

Classes are available mornings, midday, and in the evenings to accommodate a wide variety of schedules and the school is open 7 days a week. I
I recently had the privilege of attending the grand opening and I must say, it was an exhilarating experience. The academy has undoubtedly set the bar high for excellence in every aspect of a training facility.
First and foremost, the facility itself is impressive. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a clean, spacious, and well-equipped training area. The mats are pristine and provide an ideal surface for practicing Jiu Jitsu techniques.
The instructors are exceptional. Their knowledge, expertise, and passion for Jiu Jitsu are evident in every class. They create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where beginners practitioners alike feel welcome. Their patience, encouragement, and attention to detail foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to push their limits and achieve their goals.
There is a real sense of community here, and it’s something you feel immediately.

The instructors have taken the time to truly get to know my son. He cried for 2x weeks straight (apparently not rare!) when he first came but I'm so glad we stuck it out. They haven’t just helped him grow physically, but—more importantly—mentally. Over the almost two years we’ve been training here, I’ve watched my son become more confident, respectful, and resilient. I genuinely believe that BJJ, and this gym in particular, has changed the trajectory of his life.

There are many martial arts gyms around, but this one stands far above the rest. It’s not just a place to drop your kids off to burn energy and kill time (though it’s great for that too!). The instruction is intentional, thoughtful, and rooted in a real love for BJJ as both a sport and a discipline. The coaches know when to be patient and when to push my son striking a balance that i
Great academy overall. I felt welcome from my very first class. Every instructor is extremely knowledgeable about BJJ, and each understands how to distill the fundamental mechanics, concepts, and techniques so that each student develops a deeper understanding of BJJ. Also, I feel like training is often tailored to the individual students who are present in each class - perfectly matching their experience level - so that each student can get better in the specific areas they can improve in. Lastly, both the instructors and students make the environment - everyone is down to earth, welcoming, and willing to help - it’s difficult to find a place that matches this academy’s great atmosphere. 5/5
