I’m from San Diego and was visiting the area, looking for a place to train while on vacation. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome — which means a lot, especially as a visiting female. I especially loved that there was a women’s class once a week I could take because I love meeting and working with other women who train. Prof. Juan’s instruction was excellent, he really broke down every technique, and I learned so much in just a few classes. I was so impressed that I even brought my sister-in-law to try a class, and she loved it too! This gym is very family friendly and great for all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to jiu jitsu or already train, I can’t recommend Dark Arts enough. If you’re in the area, definitely stop in!
Great gym with an awesome, supportive culture. Jiu jitsu instruction is top notch. I have been training for years and have trained at gyms all over the country. The kids program is exceptional and the adult program is hands above the competition. No matter whether you have been training for 10+ years or this is your first day on the mat, you will appreciate what Dark Arts has to offer. Professor Juan is a technical, proficient Jiu Jitsu practitioner with an unwavering commitment to better every human being that steps on the mat here.
Phenomenal school with a wide variety of class times to fit any schedule. Knowledgeable instructors in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu who run dynamic, effective and practical classes that will leave you feeling energized and that you’re better prepared to protect yourself and others. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and no-nonsense drills that will leave you feeling accomplished while wondering how the class flew by so quickly! If you’re on the fence about training, hop down and come into Dark Arts to see for yourself - you won’t regret it!
Started training here with my wife and Two oldest kids a few months ago. We all love the community and atmosphere at the school. Our boys 9 and 6 love the kids Muay Thai and jujitsu classes. my wife and I both participate in the variety of adult classes offered. All of the professors and higher belt coaches are great both for the kids and us adults. Thank you Juan, Brandon and all the coaches that make Dark Arts so great.
Was visiting Webster from the UK and looking for a place to train BJJ. This is a fantastic facility - modern and clean. Juan and the team at Dark Arts were welcoming from the moment I reached out to enquire about dropping in. They went out of their way to greet me on arrival and made me feel welcome from the off. Super friendly environment, great instructors and a brilliant atmosphere all round. Whether you’re local and looking for a new club, or visiting and want to roll with some quality people - make sure you drop into Dark Arts.

Thank you so much for your hospitality and for allowing me to train with you all
