When my son was three years old (he’s now four), I posted in my local moms group looking for a karate school. Donna reached out to me personally with so much kindness to tell me about Evolution Martial Arts, and I’m so glad she did. From day one, Evolution has truly felt like family. The instructors here are amazing. They teach the little ones with the same structure, respect, and encouragement they give the older, higher-belt students. The little kids also get to work toward their own belt ranks, which makes them feel proud, motivated, and included. My son is treated like a real martial artist, not “just a little kid,” and his confidence has grown so much because of it. Evolution also offers a ton of activities outside of regular classes such as team events, community gatherings and even tournaments that include opportunities for the younger kids to participate. I can not express enough on how happy my child is there. Which makes me a happy mom!!! The instructors are amazing and very good with the children. I love seeing the smiles on these kids faces esp. my daughter, no other facility that I would go to. We also had my daughters birthday party all the kids had a blast. Def check them out you will not be disappointed at all Update we have been going here for almost a year now. And I still have nothing but great things to say about this school. They have taught my daughter so much, and we are working on her focusing skills which have seen an improvement on due to karate. Love our new karate family
I found Evolution Martial Arts after years of wanting to learn Karate … I am grateful for the late hours for Adult classes, and so pleased with my choice to join this fantastic Dojo. Master Greg, Senpi Jim, and all of the other Black Belt instructors, are amazing teachers and have already given me so much in my short time here at Evolution. All of the student’s have been very respectful and kind. As an adult beginner, I feel welcomed and understood. I hope if you are reading this you decide to take the leap! * updated review * I have almost officially completed my first year here at Evolution Martial Arts. I am proud to say that today, I am the woman I looked up to a year ago! I am excited for my journey and look forward to becoming an even better version of myself in the years to come.
Evolution has provided such a wonderful first martial arts experience for our toddler. The parent/child class provided him with the right level of comfort and introduction to early skills. The independent toddler class helped work on his independence and confidence. Every class is structured in a way that encourages learning and direction following. Donna and the assistant instructors show an exceptional level of patience and understanding, in combination with the discipline we were expecting of martial arts.
We’ve been going to Evolution for a little over a year and everyone we’ve worked with has been of the highest caliber! They’ve created a safe and fun environment where the kids are super excited to learn. Plus, the kids bond during classes in ways they just can’t do in other places. They are super welcoming towards everyone and really make you feel like family! We are proud to have them teach our son on his journey!
Our boys have been taking their MMA lessons for 2 years and have loved every session. Every staff member is very attentive while providing the utmost training lessons. A truly great and friendly environment where everyone felt part of the family. Unfortunately, due to furlough, we had to pause our membership, but we will revisit when the time is right. In the meantime, we highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to change their lives for the better. Thanks, Craig and staff, for a wonderful experience.
