I've trained at Strive BJJ for years, and it’s made a huge difference in my progress. I went from competing at the intermediate level to winning at the expert level, thanks to the high-quality coaching and training environment. The other students are all great people, and whether you're training to compete, learning self-defense, or just trying to get in shape, I’ve seen people accomplish their goals here. It’s also a great place for women and offers kids’ classes too, so it’s a solid choice for the whole family. Highly recommend it.
I’ve been training at Strive for a little over a year now and could not be happier with my experience. Strive is the third academy I’ve trained at due to moving cities, and it is by far my favorite. Professor Rich is an outstanding and patient instructor supported by a great group of upper belt coaches. The students have a friendly and supportive rapport and everyone trains hard and works to help each other improve. I’m extremely happy here and pleased that this is the local academy in the community where I’ve put down roots.
My son attends Strive, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The teachers here are amazing, they really know their stuff and are great with the kids. They create a fun and supportive environment that makes learning jiu-jitsu enjoyable for everyone. My son has improved so much since he started, not just in his jiu-jitsu skills but also in his confidence and discipline. If you’re looking for a place where your child can learn and grow, I highly recommend Strive. It’s the best place for jiu-jitsu in town!
I love everything about this place, from the brand new place on route 70 to the great coaches, they are the greatest with the kids, somehow they teach the kids how to work together, do exercises and self defense while just playing around and the kids don’t even notice that it is a class. My daughter always thinks we are going to play there, but I notice all the exercises and the moves that she’s learning and remembering, it is just unbelievable how good all the coaches are with kids from all ages.
Easily one of the best decisions I have made is starting my BJJ journey at Strive. Professor Rich and all the coaches provide detailed insight into the techniques they teach. They have created the right kind of culture you want when learning any martial art. Everyone is always welcoming and willing to help anyone with a question. Each class always has a good balance between learning techniques and a great workout. It truly is a great community to grow and learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I have been attending this academy for the past year and my experience has been nothing but amazing. The owner and head coach Professor Rich is helpful, professional, kind and friendly who will treat you like a family! Highly reccomended for whoever wanna start learning MMA and self-defense. Also special shouthout to Wrestling coach Mike, he is just an amazing caoch who will push you through your limits which makes you better and stronger every time you finish his class. Also all the students are so nice and friendly! Come and get you some self-defense!!!
