Hi Beacon! Thank you so much for being the most amazing possible training space this past year. I trained boxing and muay thai at Beacon from January 2023 until February 2024, and it broke my heart not to renew my membership there....training at Beacon has been one of the best and most empowering experiences of my life. I'm moving out of the Jersey area and I knew if I kept training at Beacon I would never be able to move; the gym and the people there are too good. I trained with Coach Peach, Coach Anthony, Coach Shane, and Coach Bobby. Each of these coaches brings something different to the table and if you stick with it you will learn valuable skills (for on and off the matt) from all of them. I've wanted to try out boxing since about 2017, but I was always too scared to. I wasn't athletic in high school and I was nervous that boxing was a "guys sport" and that it would be too difficult. But I also thought it was cool and wanted to pr
Cleanliness: 5/5 Facility: 5/5 Staff/coaching: 5/5 Dropped in on a Monday for Muay Thai with Coach Anthony and had a great class. He gave context on when/why to use each technique and combo and it was applicable to real scenarios. He is very approachable and welcoming to questions. Facility was large and accommodated a fairly large class very nicely. The pads were nice and allowed for a great session. Facility was also very clean. Can't wait to come back and train again! PS: Luke "The Chef" Lessei, trains and teaches class there now. For fans of fighting and One Championship, and fellow Muay Thai students, this place is the the real deal. He was super nice and even dapped me up after one of the drills. I will never be washing my hand now. Sean Fazen of Fight Tips also teaches classes here and I can't wait to come back to take one of his classes.
I've been training MMA for almost 7 years now. I started my training with this team and will continue to learn from their exceptional coaching staff! The facility is awesome! Top of the line equipment and lots of recent updates to keep the gym as the best in the area. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment for all ages, experience levels, etc. Egos are checked at the door unlike some other gyms I've been to. I can't say enough about this place and how it's helped me improve, not just as a martial artist but as a person, over the last 7 years. More importantly, I've made many relationships through training here that will certainly last a lifetime. When I have kids, they will be enrolled in the Little Dragon's program as soon as they are of age. You owe it to yourself to check this place out if you are looking for a home to train at.
Daddis MMA is a wonderful school. From the kids just starting out, to the professional fighters, it has something for everyone. My husband and step-son started training there almost 3 years ago, and the results have been incredible. David, my step-son is now an assistant instructor with the Little Dragons program. My husband fell in love with Muay Thai, and that brought us to Thailand this past spring. The instructors and students seem to welcome every new person with open arms, and the times of classes are perfect, it allows my husband to work, and not miss many classes. I highly recommend Daddis, it's a great place to train.....
I've trained BJJ and Muay Thai on and off for several years at a variety of gyms, and I must say that Beacon delivers on all fronts! The facility is very spacious and extremely well maintained. The coaches and staff are always accommodating and knowledgeable, and the other students in class couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. You're in great hands here regardless of whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. If you're looking to train BJJ, Muay Thai, or MMA in the Greater Philly/South Jersey area - Beacon is your spot!
Beautiful space and expert instruction. Beacon MMA and Fitness is a great place to train and work out. Their facility is spacious and clean. The equipment is great for lifting and cross fit. I specifically came for the Jiu jitsu class, which had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I came away with some great techniques and was instantly welcomed by everyone at the gym. The coach gives everyone great personal instruction and is very patient in explaining the details of each move. I highly recommend this gym.
