I've been training Journey Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for over a year now, and I can honestly say it's been one of the best experiences of my life. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, and they create a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all levels. The classes are well-structured and cover a wide range of techniques, from basic self-defense to more advanced competition-level moves. The instructors are always willing to take the time to help students learn and improve, and they create a fun and challenging atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable pushing themselves. I love training here, the people will welcome you in like family, I’ve been training Jiu jitsu for 8 years now and this place is the real deal, If you are just starting out or you have trained before this place will really help you getter that next level! They have amazing instructors that have helped me improve a lot! If you are in the Fort Wayne or Manchester area this is definitely the place to train!
I have been training Jiu-Jitsu for many years and have been to several other gyms in the past but none of them have felt like home as much as journey does. The kids classes are great and the adult classes are welcoming for beginners and long term practitioners alike.
Journey Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic academy with a variety of talented instructors and dedicated students. If you are looking for a place to learn self defense and get some exercise this is a good academy. If you want to compete and get pushed to another level this is a good academy. The staff and students are all friendly and strive to make the experience great for everyone involved.
First time ever training Jiu-Jitsu, and I couldn't of picked a better place to start and to stay for a very long time. Great gym, great people, great everything! Consider the people there almost like a second family. Couldn't imagine a better place to make yourself better as an individual on and off the mat.
I've been a student at the Journey facility since it opened it's doors. The coaches are constantly looking for ways to accommodate and enhance the student experience while offering real world self defense, a successful competition team, and a 24 hour fitness center. If you're in the area and aren't training here, you're doing yourself a huge disservice
