Childress Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy reviews

Josh Childress is the best coach in Pueblo... He has transformed my son Draven into a well disciplined young man and was very patient with him. As a single parent/ mother, I was looking for an arena for my son to grow and the minute I witnessed how Josh coached my son, I was sold. He understood that my child had a unique personality and way of learning and incorporated that into his training. Coach Juan Martinez Jr. is also a great assistant to Josh and patient with my son. My son has been training with Josh Childress for almost 4 years now and the gym is our second home. Very clean, safe and inviting. Janelle is great and we highly recommend it! Your child will definitely grow in the art of Brazilian jujitsu and in life! Training at Childress Brazilian Jujitsu Academy will definitely train anyone for greatness...
I was traveling through and stopped in for a class and came back to roll. Kids class was going on before the adults and they looked to have a good sized group of about 15 kids all having fun. The adult class was similarly sized. Good warm up and technical instruction for about and hour and a half. Coach Juan is a technical purple belt and a good communicator. Wednesday and Saturday are rolling. $20 drop in fee. Large facility, lots of mat space, locker rooms and rap music. I'll be back anytime I'm in the Pueblo area.
Great facility - big, clean, organized and neat. Coach, Josh is great with the kids and grappling. Coach, Trevor was awesome with the kids and MMA class; now it’s coach Art and he is just as awesome. Just a great overall environment and place to learn. Definitely a place for the whole family to enjoy, learn and train in the Arts.
My 10 year old son was struggling to find a sport/activity to keep him active in this video game era. I put him in the MMA class for his age group and he loves it. It has boosted his confidence and he looks forward to going to his classes. I joined the woman's class to workout while my son was in his class and it exceeded my expectations. I love it. The coaches are great, they teach you the correct way to prevent you from injuries and they keep it fun while getting in a work out. This gym has become something my son and I love to do together.
Children's dojo is a great place. This dojo has a good coach to student ratio. There are usually 3 coaches during the kid classes. This allows for kids to get sufficient one on one training. Every coach on the mat also has incredible patients and is willing to put in the extra time with struggling students.
Coach Art is very welcoming. He coaches to all age levels, taking time explaining to the kids while pushing his older students. He brings a great knowledge of fighting to the gym. Coach Josh is also very welcoming and does a great job training his students and pushing everyone to their full potential.
