I have been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for several years. Recently I’ve had the opportunity to train at Trifecta Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and it has been an incredible experience. The instructors, led by Head Coach Mando, are highly skilled and provide clear, detailed instruction. The gym atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, with experienced members helping everyone. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, including a spacious mat area, conditioning equipment, and pristine locker rooms. Class offerings are diverse, catering to all skill levels, with specific sessions for no-gi and self-defense. There are also kids' classes, making it a family-friendly environment. For those interested in competing, the gym offers excellent support and regular competition training camps. Membership fees are reasonable and provide great value for the quality of training received. Overall, Trifecta BJJ Academy offers top-tier instruction, a s
This gym is a top notch training facility. It is a very friendly and welcoming. The people there make it very easy to fit in and be part of the Trifecta family. The gym is by far the cleanest in the area. I've personally seen Coach Man-doe clean it on a daily basis. From vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the mats with disinfectant to help prevent any ringworm or staph infections. Marion (Moe) Renuea is an excellent instructor. She pushes you through the warmups, drills are tense and the techniques taught are legit. If your having trouble with the technique Moe takes the time to help you until you understand and get it. It feels like your getting personal training by her. Trifecta has upper belts who will help you learn. Kids class has grown fast and getting some awesome instruction from Coach Man-doe who is currently a brown belt and his brother Jess along with other coaches who help out. The female class is the biggest in the valley if n
Nothing but positive things to say about Trifecta. Their kids wrestling program is one of the best in the Central Valley. Our kids have progressed so much since they joined they went from not winning any tournaments, to now placing at State tournaments. Their Wrestling program is ran by Coach Jesse and Coach Mando, they are both great instructors and are truly passionate about their work. Great women's BJJ program, ran by retired UFC fighter Marion Reneau. All around very hardworking, dedicated, and passionate instructors. The facility is extremely clean, coach Marion and Mando always ensure that everyone keeps hygienic practices on an off the mats.
I've been attending Trifecta for a year now. Im currently enrolled in the Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu classes. They're both great! What initially drew me to the organization is that they have a womens only Jiu Jitsu class. Everyone gets along very well and the team considers each other family. The price is affordable. Trifectas attendees include people on many different levels and generations so there a place for everyone. The coaches are welcoming and helpful. Marion is understanding, a giver, a listener, a teacher, and a phenomenal leader. I highly recommend giving Trifecta it a try!
In my head I had always thought of martial arts gyms as dark, dirty, gloomy, worn down warehouse type of place. Then I came here and was completely blown away at how wrong I was! This academy is truly a professional one and undoubtedly a well kept academy. You can see the pride in all coaches and even members in how well they take care of the place. Always clean. Always making sure the hygiene rules are followed. A cleaning system/process in place after every class and much more thorough at the end of the day. A legit check in system to acknowledge your attendance. And all of this done by the owners themselves along side gym members that also include family. I’m so glad I chose this place to start my BJJ journey. Not just because it’s lead by a Pro UFC fighter but because the members are all very supportive and encouraging and always make you feel welcomed. Trifecta is my BJJ home and this is my Tribe.
I always wanted to learn some kind of martial art for self defense but was too intimidated to start. When I heard that Trifecta MMA offers an all women’s BJJ class AND that it is taught by Coach Marion Reneau-Perez a retired UFC fighter… I was SOLD! Been training for almost 5 months now, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made!! The women’s bjj class is truly a tribe of amazing women! They welcomed me with open arms. Coach Reneau-Perez is an amazing role model and I’m truly thankful for everything I’m learning! So to all the women out there thinking about joining, stop hesitating! Come join our tribe! 💪🏼
