This gym is beautiful, Clifton meticulously built and created a wonderful space to learn, train, and join a positive community. Sure there’s other gyms, but how often are you learning from a judo and bjj black belt. He cultivates retention by teaching his students positions for periods of time where they learn, practice, and add to their practice. A welcoming place that I am glad I had the opportunity to train at. 🙏🏾
Recently joined the adult program and what drew me in was the excellent instruction and intentionally small class size setting so you get the benefit of a lot of 1:1 attention and a close-knit, no-ego, no bs, community dojo culture. The head instructor Clifton is very technical but able to communicate the instruction in a really easy to understand manner which I find to be really helpful. Highly recommend anybody interested in learning a martial art to drop-in and check out this school (I believe they have free trials).
Clifton is one of the best BJJ instructors in the South Bay and Torrance area! I've trained with him for years and hes always been extremely patient and easy to learn from. Hands down, one of the best Torrance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo Studios around. Train here you wont regret it!
Clifton excels at teaching martial arts; his detail-oriented knowledge allows him to go the extra mile to ensure you understand every technique. We were fortunate to attend the grand opening/open house this past weekend, where we met his family and team of instructors.
