This is one the best places to start training Jiu Jitsu in South Bay Area. They already have a solid teaching program that Cobrinha headquarters in LA have been using to graduate World Chanpions for years now. Eduardo, the main coach from Cobrinha BJJ Southbay is 2 times Black Belt World Champion and is one the most prestige fighters inside BJJ. He has graduated dozens of black belts and has been holding his black belt for over 18 years. This brand new facility is always clean and smels really good. It has the best mat available on the market so students can practice with confidence, safe and more efficient. I have been taking classes for about 3 weeks now and my skillls and cardio are far beyond I ever been or expected. They also have the kids program which my daughter is been part of and she is loving in it. This group of kids are learning and improving their Jiu Jitsu skilll and at same time they are making a good phisical exercise,
Professor Santoro and his wife Syangy are awesome coaches and all around incredible people. They are very patient and care deeply about each and every one of their students. This gym is great for all levels and ages of BJJ players, from kids to adults and beginners to very advanced. Professor Santoro enjoys the art of teaching BJJ and is a multiple time world champion. If you're wanting to explore BJJ, learn self defense, elevate your BJJ game, or just meet new people and practice healthy habits - you need to join this gym. All of the members are very friendly and caring. I've been training here for a year and a half and absolutely love the place, Professor Santoro, Syangy, and the entire ESJJ family! Iv been training with Professor Eduardo since 2017. I trained a a few other gyms before my friend recommending me to try out ESJJ, and man am i glad I made the jump. Eduardo has the most patience when it comes to teaching jiu jitsu from beginner to really advanced techniques. There has been times where life gets busy and I’m not training for weeks/months at a time and Eduardo will reach out personally and see what’s going on. He cares a lot about his students on and off the mats. If you’re looking to start or try a class or even further your jiu jitsu journey I recommend Eduardo and his academy to anyone and everyone! This is a great environment for people of any age to learn high-level jiu jitsu. Classes are led by competitive blackbelts from Brazil – Eduardo and Syang. Cobrinha BJJ has produced some of the most successful competitors in the sport today. The instructors here are completely dedicated to ensuring that everyone learns solid, effective jiu jitsu. Everyone is treated with respect. If you want top instruction and hard training with motivated, talented people, then this is the place to be! It’s a welcoming, safe place to learn. I love training here. The facility is brand new and very clean.
This gym saved me during covid. My cousin Beau said there is amazing jiu jitsu in that academy that has blocked out the windows during the pandemic, just enter through the back alley. Once i did it changed my life. I haven’t competed in 20 years. Eduardo, Syang, Bruno, Zaca, and all the ESJJ family pushed me to get back out there and push myself, and to get healthy again. You have been so kind to me, my kids and all my friends and family i have recommended to come train. The name reflects the results. A school of excellence! Osss
