WTJBJJ is an incredible gym. DJ, the head coach is very meticulous when it comes to details in training both Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing, which helps you become pretty proficient at both. I came primarily for the Jiu-Jitsu and it has leveled me up so much in a matter of a few months since opening. As such, I've been taking the boxing classes to level up my striking as well. In addition, everyone who trains here is great and you will have fun training and also become very good in a matter of months. Stop in and check it out - you'll love it!
We recently enrolled our 5-year-old son in a ju-jitsu class, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! As a parent of a shy child, finding activities where he feels comfortable and engaged is always a challenge. Coach DJ has been remarkable from the start, helping him open up in a way that we hadn't seen before in group settings. The welcoming and patient approach taken by Coach DJ not only made my son feel at ease but also excited to return for his next class. I can't recommend Welcome To The Jungle Jiu Jitsu and Coach DJ enough! The facility is clean and inviting, with plenty of options for training at both morning and night classes. Plus, they have showers available for your convenience. They offer a variety of classes, including traditional Gi BJJ, No Gi, and Boxing, making it a great fit for everyone. It’s a very family-friendly environment, too!
I can’t say enough good things about this gym. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed — no ego, no weird vibes, just solid people. The coaching is next level. Coach DJ has a way of breaking techniques down so they actually make sense, whether you're brand new or have years on the mats. It’s competitive in the best way — you’re pushed to improve, not put down. If you’re even thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — or looking for a new academy — this is the place. Beautiful gym with an amazing owner and some amazing people. If you wanna learn bjj or get your kids into the bjj community this is a fantastic place to learn! Highly recommend dj, great coach and great personality and only wants the best for his students. Make it a mission to visit!
