I’ve been training at Rounders MMA for a few years now, and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Before this, I trained at places like Total MMA and other local gyms, but none of them compare. The way Rounders structures their classes whether it’s BJJ, Muay Thai, or boxing makes learning consistent and effective. Instead of random drills like some gyms or coaches do, the coaches focus on a structure or theme each week, which really helped me build both skill and stamina. The gym is also very beginner friendly. The coaches take time to make sure everyone learns the right technique, and the teammates are welcoming and always willing to give feedback. On top of that, it’s great for fitness too I started at around 180–190 lbs and dropped 20–30 lbs in about 4–6 months. Coach Bao is one of the most approachable and helpful coaches I had the pleasure in training under. I’ve had certain coaches in mma gyms that made you feel

I've been at Rounders Santa Ana for a collective ~4 years and have taken both the Cardio Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes. I've been to other gyms around the OC area and nothing else compares to Rounders! For one, the coaches are attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their sport - I feel like I'm actually learning and improving. Additionally, everything we learn feels applicable: it's not 20+ combos where it's not realistic in actual self defense; the coaches here teach us useful drills, whether it's for self defense, competition, or teaching us an interesting combo that happened in this past weekend's UFC card. Personally too, I love how everyone at the gym has a friendly competitive spirit. There's always a gym member competing, whether it's pro or amateur! Lastly from a community standpoint, everyone is really welcoming and supportive - you can count on someone at the gym to supporting an upcoming competition or simply be a
Walking into Rounders MMA was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Before joining, I had *zero* training experience and was honestly intimidated to even step through the door. But the moment I walked in, all of that fear disappeared. The staff and instructors were incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind—something that made a world of difference for someone just starting out like me. Every coach at Rounders is highly qualified with deep competition and professional fight experience, yet they treat everyone with respect, no matter your background or skill level. Whether you're just looking to get in shape or you're a seasoned fighter, you'll feel right at home here. Over the past 6 to 8 months, I've lost around 20 pounds and gained a whole new sense of confidence. This place has truly changed my life. What’s even more impressive is the range of people that train here—from total beginners to high-level professionals. It’s an environme
Easily the best boxing gym I’ve trained at. All the coaches here are dedicated in helping you grow, whether you’re a beginner or a fighter. The atmosphere in the gym is amazing, I was really nervous and quite shy when I first came to the gym thinking everyone would judge me or would make fun of me but everyone is super inviting and nice. I've been training at Rounders for a little under 3 years and I truly love it here. Training with Coach Hugo and my team truly feels like a family and Rounders is like my second home. I highly recommend coming and training here.
I've known Bao Quach for over 20 years, and I can confidently say he's one of the most genuine, humble, and impactful people I know. His gym, Rounders MMA in North Santa Ana, is not only top-notch and state-of-the-art, but it's also a cornerstone of the community. Over the years, Bao has opened his doors to thousands of local kids, giving them a place to train, grow, and stay focused. He's an incredible coach, a world-class fighter, and, above all, a loyal friend with a huge heart. Whether you're looking to compete, get in shape, or find a positive environment to train in, Rounders MMA is the place to be. Proud of everything Bao has built — Santa Ana is lucky to have him. 💪
