I had an amazing year at this gym and definitely hope to be back again in the future! Loved the workouts, they definitely helped my overall fitness while learning new skills. The environment is really welcoming and supportive to people of all ages and skill levels, it really is a strong community vibe. I started with zero experience and learned a ton about Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu while making all kinds of new friends. It's fun that it's a competitive gym, I enjoyed going to events and supporting my teammates when they had fights coming up. I'm not on that track myself by any means as I signed up quite randomly with a general goal of finding a good in-person workout near where I live, but it was a fun environment to be in and I got way more out of it than I would have ever expected. It's for sure worth a try if you are at all curious!
Whether you're experienced or totally new in the world of martial arts, you won't find many places more rewarding and inviting than World Team USA. I've been training Muay Thai and BJJ for years and was traveling out of town for about a weeks time from the East Coast and joined World Team USA. The Muay Thai guidance from Kru and detailed BJJ coaching from Conrad and Silvestre was some of the best I've received in quite some time. The gym has a raw and unique environment with a great legacy of several fighters that pushes you, but the coaches also drive an aspect of fun and levity. Broke my heart leaving Team USA at the end of my trip, but will absolutely be returning next time I'm back on the West Coast. Thank you again to Kru, Conrad and Silvestre and hope to see you all again soon.
Black belt World Chapion Pro fighter Mma Gracie jiu jitsu Muay thai Boxing Personal training Dietitians Nasm trained Lots of levels #1, beginner, amateurs, Hobbie trainers, pro fighters, kids and adults all levels, ages, experience, male or female. We are a family oriented school but we are also tough and have pro fighters as well But not everyone need to be a fighter to learn.
I give this place a 5 stars. Everything you need to learn and become a great defender and fighter. I came to this place a week after quitting drinking and 420. This place made me realize how much I harmed my body over the years. I use to play sports and other active activities before and still thought I had my energy. I was completely wrong. First I gotta say Kru Sam is the type of person your meet and you automatically give him full respect. He has a very warm heart and speaks with a peaceful tone. You know right away he's a great man. My first session was a 1 on 1 warm up session with Brian who I still remember as another great spirit and calm relaxed teaching qualities. Brian was definitely on top of his game. I see many people coming in that are definitely there's for a reason and it shows. Great quality peers and trainers who have harnessed the art. I feel very proud that I joined. I know this is the right place for me and the best
This a truly special gym. I've been to a dozen muay thai gyms across the country and have not found a place that is as purposeful and thoughtful in their training as World Team USA. Top notch instruction no matter whether you're training to be a professional fighter or just trying to learn the sport. Kru Sam has built a welcoming, collegial, and encouraging community full of fighters who look out for each other and promote each other's growth. I wish I could give it six stars.
Joining World Team USA Muay Thai has been truly life-changing for me! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Muay Thai or is looking for a serious, intense workout in a friendly and welcoming environment. Because they have classes every day—both in the early afternoons and evenings—it offers excellent flexibility for my chaotic work schedule. A huge thanks to Kru Sam, coaches Conrad, Sean, Max, and everyone else who works here, for making this place so exceptional!
