I first heard about the gym from a friend, so I joined and started taking my two kids for classes and had a great experience. I bring them 3 times a week now regularly and both of my kids have lost a considerable amount of weight and they love their workouts and get very excited about coming to the gym. The owner Gilbert is a great trainer and he works very well with kids. I will be starting the adult classes myself shortly after my work schedule changes but I’m summary I would definitely recommend this gym for the adults and kids classes.
Gilbert Zaragoza is an amazing coach. My son was nervous about going back to boxing and in 3 weeks Mr. Zaragoza has my 11 year old son tuned up and looking really good. Boxing is a mental discipline and an amazing art. The tonality when Mr. Zaragoza coaches the men, women and youth that show up to learn this art is exactly what they need. He's stern and makes you pay attention (two things necessary for safety when engaging in physical combat). That is very much appreciated. I've been to gyms where the coach is nonchalant and soft and the people that come out of those gyms are also very soft. That isn't what you want from a boxing coach. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a solid boxing gym. No games are played, yet you still have an enjoyable time and an amazing skill practice and teaching. I've seen amazing skill increase in minimal amount of time my boy has been back here. God bless coach Gilbert Zaragoza and his friends
For the past year my son has been training at the boxing gym, with coach Gilbert and in that year he has become more confident in himself also has developed passion for the sport. Coach Gilbert knows what he is teaching also helps with the kids improve in themselves. For the new kids that are barely starting the sport he helps them learn the technique. I would recommend this place for your kids.
I have been training at boxing gym now for a week. I feel great and everyday I am getting better and stronger. Gil has a passion for boxing and you can see it the way he hangs around his gym. Gil is a straight up no bs guy and I like that! He wants to see people do well also and is considerate of everyone in the gym. " I want the dog house Gil" LOL and Joking, Gil will know what I mean. In all seriousness if your looking to get into shape or just looking for a new challenge come on over to California Boxing and MMA! Thanks Gil!
Super awesome gym. Everyone trains hard despite the level they are in (just starting- or pro) really good atmosphere. Lets be honest we all want to train with positive and encouraging people, this place is it they are definitely a team and I am going to be apart of them today Gilbert and Bob are awesome and really motivated to help you be successful! Hopefully I will get to see you all there
My step son really liked it here and the coach. He went to another gym that didnt really teach too much techniques. When he came here he had to start from the begining. It's awesome to know they teach the correct ways and he also got a lot of one on one coaching. Well worth the funds. I just wish we lived closer.
