I feel blessed and grateful that my son is in great hands. Both coaches are awesome and very technical, these guys are the real deal. The culture of the academy is awesome too, allowing parents/students a relaxed environment with no pressure. We try our best to get here on time, but with 2 parents working and traffic coming home from far away, we aren’t always on time and the coaches are super chill about it. My son is already thriving here, and I am excited for how much this place will change his life going forward. Thanks to AGA, and thanks to both of the coaches for not only making my son better as a human, but also making our community better by helping to raise the kids as respectful martial artists with integrity. I would highly recommend this school for all the parents out there, as these guys practice real self defense in the form of grappling and jiu jitsu. I especially recommend it for parents with young kids, as grappling/jiu
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My daughter and I were visiting from Huntsville, Alabama and decided to drop in at American Grappling Academy while in town — and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and professional. Their kids’ program is absolutely top-notch — structured, positive, and designed to build real confidence and discipline while keeping things fun. The coaches were amazing with the kids, breaking things down in a way that made it easy to learn and exciting to be part of. I also jumped into one of the adult competition classes, and the level of instruction and attention to detail blew me away. These guys are true professionals who clearly care about developing every student — whether it’s your first day or you’re a seasoned grappler. If you’re looking for a gym that combines world-class Jiu-Jitsu instruction with a family-friendly, hard-working environment, AGA is the place to be. Thank you all for
I had such a great experience trying out this jiu-jitsu gym. From the moment I walked in, the environment felt welcoming and supportive. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and made it easy to feel comfortable as a newcomer. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and technical, but what really stood out was how approachable they made everything feel. They took the time to explain details clearly and created a space where asking questions felt encouraged, not intimidating. Overall, it’s an amazing gym with a positive culture, strong instruction, and a community that truly makes you want to come back. Highly recommend to anyone curious about starting or continuing their jiu-jitsu journey.
We love AGA! My husband, daughter (7) and now son attend classes at American Grappling Academy. We’ve been going there for over a year now. Both the coaches are friendly along with the community they have within the gym. At the end of class you’ll feel encouraged and motivated to come back. The gym is clean, organized and super kid friendly! First class is free! I couldn’t recommended AGA enough!
