Coach Cam is the definition of what a true jiu-jitsu coach should be. As a black belt, veteran, and dedicated father, he brings an incredible balance of discipline, patience, and passion to every class. His attention to detail and ability to break down complex techniques make training with him a game-changer. Whether you’re a beginner or training for competition, Coach Cam meets you where you’re at and helps you grow every step of the way. His leadership on and off the mats sets the standard, couldn’t ask for a better coach or role model.
Best Jiu Jitsu gym in town. A welcoming place for all with a very knowledgeable coach. I highly recommend giving jiu jitsu a try or even the kickboxing class to practice self defense and stay in shape. As a jiu jitsu and kickboxing enthusiast, I am grateful an academy of this level opened in town. Coach Cam is very respectful and humble and I personally recommend this academy for anyone interested in the martial arts.
I was fortunate enough to meet Cameron many years ago when he became mine and Joao Alfredo's student. Through those years teaching and training with him, we also became close friends. Cameron became a No Gi World Champion, placed on the podium in many Pan American Championships and won several IBJJF opens. He is an active competitor still which adds a lot of value for his coaching career and being able to bring the most modern skills used in tournaments. Coach Cam is consistent with studying and improving to offer his students the best learning experience and is able to create a great atmosphere for his members making them feel comfortable and safe. From beginners to advanced students, everyone is welcome and he makes sure everyone gets proper attention. Couldn't be more proud of him and his training facility.
Hands down the best Jiu-Jitsu training facility in the area. This isn't just a regular money mill gym where you pay to get a workout and call it a day. Cameron is an experienced Black Belt Jiu-Jitsu instructor who takes the discipline serious and ensures his students grow. He is also a military veteran and takes care if his fellow veterans. I highly recommend this to learn and progress in Jiu-Jitsu.
I am glad coach Cam came to Patterson. The Grapple HQ Academy has a very respectful and friendly atmosphere. Coach Cam is so knowledgeable and I have had the opportunity to watch him compete. To me that is the motivation I needed to get back on the mat. Also, the kids’ program is amazing, my daughter has learned a lot and loves the class. Grapple HQ is the best kickboxing and jiu jitsu academy.
