Jiu Jitsu has so many benefits: physical, mental, social, etc. My wife, 2 sons and I all love training here. Highest level instruction for all levels. Hard rolls met with good vibes, humility, transparency and warmth. Many of the students and I have been training together for years under Professor Marcelo (“Captain”) since we began training. He and the other instructors are all very experienced and highly successful competitors who know what it takes to win- their medals are hanging at gym(s) throughout the area, as multiple time champions in gi and no gi. This is super important, so make sure to ask this or look it up when considering BJJ gyms. The kids class is no different- under the guidance of coach Annie, the kids program has over a dozen league champions and highly decorated youth boys and girls. Not enough words can be said about how great this studio and the coaches truly are! Professor Joao and Coach Annie have been coaching my son for a year. I truly believe they are one of the main reasons he loves the sport so much. When you find amazing instructors, they really shape the culture of the studio. My son absolutely loves and respects both of them. The coaches are very involved and hands on with each and every student and it is evident how invested they are in the development of proper Jiu Jitsu as well as their emotional well-being. I truly appreciate how they mentor my son and emotionally support him. BJJ is a tough sport both physically and mentally. My son knows they care about “him”! The camaraderie at the studio makes everyone feel welcome and part of a family. My family has developed close friendships and are very thankful to be part of V1sion BJJ – Ladera Ranch.
I love rolling at this gym! There is a wide range of talents here so I’m able to roll with people at my level and above which challenges me to learn new moves faster. The atmosphere is positive, friendly, encouraging, and welcoming. I have learned so much from the coaches and feel I am getting an authentic experience. Come here if you want to be a part of a gym that is based on respect, knowledge, family and discipline. The prices are fair and justifiably worth it. Members can attend as many classes as they like weekly from a schedule with convenient times as early as 6am and as late as 7pm for adults. As a busy father with 3 kids, this is a great outlet for me physically and a place to build camaraderie. My kids go here as well, both young girls, and they have become much more confident and resilient from their training with Coach Annie and Joao. 10/10 would recommend.
Vision BJJ is a beginner friendly gym that also offers instruction for experienced competitors. The community is fun and supportive. The students are welcoming and freely help each other improve. The youth instructors are excellent with kids. The youth classes work well for all levels of children. Both the adult and youth instructors are very dedicated to their student's growth. They consistently go above and beyond being just coaches. This is a great gym if you have any interest in maintaining physical health, learning self-defense or enjoying competitive sports.
The coaches here are amazing. Very patient and detailed. This is great for new practitioners but also they are competative trainers so their feed back and coaching is relevant and precise. The location is top notch and the studio is clean and tidy. Both of my kids roll at this studio. We have rolled at several BJJ and Judo studios through our travels and relocations and this studio is top notch. The instruction is great for both beginners and advanced students. The men/women and woman-only classes are great as well and very competative yet welcoming to new students.
