Professor Rey is not only a highly skilled instructor but also a thoughtful and patient teacher. He doesn't just show you the moves -- he breaks down the why behind every detail and nuance, which makes a huge difference in how you learn and improve. What really sets this place apart is how invested Rey is in his students. He takes a hands-on approach and genuinely cares about your progress. On top of that, he's a warm, kind, and welcoming person, which creates a strong sense of community at the school. It honestly feels more like a family than just a gym. I can't recommend this place enough. If you have the chance to train here, take it.
Rey Diogo is a 6th degree black belt under Carlson Gracie Sr. and is one of the most knowledgeable jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world. He has adult classes and kids classes. It’s a fun/friendly environment and everyone is treated like family. I highly recommend this school.
Rey Diogo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy is truly unique. It’s not just rhat you’re getting to train with a legend - tho you are! There’s a reason his students generally compete and win! And for those who just want to roll and be part of a community, when you join the studio you are introduced as a new family member and he really means it. Such a great place. Highly recommend!
