I had taken classes before at Lima Taekwondo a few yrs back and I had throughly enjoyed my experience there. So- esp because I have more disposable $ so I couldn't wait to sign up again. AndI took a class yesterday and I wasn't disappointed at all! And especially as the Pandemic winds down..Thank God- Lima hasn't allowed any of their specific health requrements to lapse! Their studio is as clean as it always has been! And even more so!!!! I am taking their twice a week mornings at 9am class because this works best for me. My class yesterday was taught by a young gentleman- Master Henry. And he was very polite- and attentive in both his presentation and his teaching; which for me- as a senior citizen was quite refreshing! to say the least. And in conclusion- Lima Taekwondo is a husband and wife family owned small business and they show and prove how this fact alone brings such an added dimension to the the Martial Arts mix!! I joined Lima Taekwondo last year and I have grown so much through the friendly and hardworking community at Lima Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy. Lima Taekwondo provides an excellent environment to train and learn.The masters are friendly and always help me improve to become a better martial artists. I always learn something new and improve everyday. They prepare us for our belt tests and help us in competitions to the best of their abilities. The results are amazing. We have been part of Lima Taekwondo for a year and a half, and without exaggeration, it is the most exceptional martial arts school in Los Angeles. I’ve been taking adult TKD classes 2 days a week for 3 months after taking a 4 year break and love it. My other schools didn’t teach me all the forms/poomsaes for my red belt level, just the kicks, and I was ridiculed for not knowing something I was never taught which is why I left. Not here at Lima TKD - they work with me to help me relearn old forms and learn new ones and this is the only TKD school I’ve been to in the LA area with a lot of adult students in their 20s, 30s, 40s and up.
Haven't attended this school yet, but as I've researched BJJ classes, I've been incredibly impressed by the responsiveness to my emails. Very kind and helpful. I'll be taking them up on their free class the next time I'm in the area.
My family has been going to Lima Taekwondo in Torrance for almost 8 years. We have all received our Black Belts there and continue to train and improve our techniques. All of the instructors are great! We love Lima Taekwondo!
