First let me start by saying that I drive to OTM from about an hour away. The people there are always very helpful, happy to answer questions, but just as importantly, places like this need to stick around for people who like to try things on before buying them. They have a HUGE selection of Boxing and Muay Thai gloves. Multiple weights and styles of the same model or color, etc. It’s great to have somewhere to go to try them on before you buy them. The prices are competitive as well. Maybe you’ll save a couple bucks buying online, but I will warn you that you may not like what you end up with. It’s happened more than once that I went into buy a specific thing (which they had in stock) and after trying something else, I walked out with something other than what I went to buy. I’ve never been “upsold” irresponsibly either. They’re there to ensure you’re happy with what you buy and suggest what you might like as an alternative if you were
This rating is purely for my recent experience at OTM. I came with my bf who trains Muay Thai too and he was helpful with my final choice for gloves but it was Ernie who worked at OTM that made our experience better. He was extremely helpful, patient and always gave me diff gloves to try so I can widen my feel and knowledge for the various brands like Twins, Raja, Hayabusa and Thaismai. Anyway, Ernie you’re the goat. Thank you for going above and beyond. We’ll be back!
They have a huge selection of pretty much any fighting and/or training equipment you need. I couldn't even count how many different types of gloves and headgear they offered. Everything I tried out seemed like great quality equipment, and I have been more than happy with the gear I left with. The girl behind the counter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. I will definitely be visiting this store again.
Had a great experience yesterday buying my first Gi. The girl helping was super informative and at one point the owner came over to help. They took time to help me find the perfect fit, and talked me through the pros and cons of the different options. Would highly recommend for ALL of your training needs!
This place is great, and the customer service is top-notch. I called after waiting a couple of weeks for a pair of gloves coming from Thailand. They informed me it would be a bit longer before the shipment was received and offered to exchange my gloves for something they had in store. They spent about 10 minutes sending me pictures and video of all the gloves they had in stock and sent me a new pair the same day, even offering to comp the difference.
I went in looking for head gear for Muay Thai, and the workers there were very helpful! They helped me find fit the helmets and tied up for me. They even let me test some gloves I've been looking at for a while and was convinced to buy some lavender Twin gloves! Super friendly and give good advice, highly recommend
