I came to Huntington Beach for a Celebration of Life for a family member, I train Jiu-Jitsu in the Gi and No-Gi Weekly. Even when I Travel I try my best to get 2-3 Training sessions in per week on the Road. Paulo Gazze's BJJ/MMA Gym is a Legendary Stop for anyone who loves to do and learn the highest level of Jiu-Jitsu, Professor Gazze is a 5th degree blackbelt who will soon level up even higher. When I visited his Gym, he loaned me a Gi and a Belt to use in his class, where I was absolutely treated like family. The class was high level and everyone walked away better for it. Im glad to say I found a new Friend and Coach to Visit when I travel to Visit Family in Huntington!! Highly Recommend this Jiu-Jitsu Coach and I am Very Picky. His Gym is like a Ferrari amongst BJJ Gyms, only the best way to go.
My journey at Gazze Academy began in 2006, and it has truly transformed my life in ways I never imagined possible. Myself and my 15 year old son have been going to Gazze Jiu Jitsu in Huntington Beach for about two years now. This has been one the best decisions I have made for myself and my family. Best thing I could do for my son. Come here for legitimate jiu jitsu and Muay Thai to train with skilled and experienced instructors. A positive atmosphere without the egos and attitudes. Whether you’re training to compete or just have fun and exercise, this place checks all the boxes. Can’t say enough. Send your kids here you will immediately see the positive results. I just took my first Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai classes at Gazze Academy, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! For the Jiu-Jitsu class, I had the opportunity to learn from the owner, Junior Gazze. He was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and brought a wealth of experience to the mat. As the only woman in the class, I felt completely comfortable and supported. The entire group was respectful, helpful, and genuinely encouraged my learning. In the Muay Thai class, I trained with Seuua Daao. Wow, he was amazing. His passion for the art is contagious. Not only did he correct my form with care, but he also shared valuable insight into the history and tradition of Muay Thai. His energy, wisdom, and motivation made a lasting impact. It would be an understatement to say that Gazze Academy helped me lose weight. It’s more accurate to say it changed my life. While i can personally attest to the benefits I’ve experienced physically, down 28 pounds and counting, the true change has come from the community at the gym. Professor Gazze is a beacon of positivity in each class he runs but he is not alone as the other instructors like Gio, Ryan and Francisco have pushed me to be better all around. I’ve made great friends and although it’s a great class, it feels like a community of driven and positive people who are all working together to improve each other.
