I've done walking, running, treadmill, lifting, zumba, etc. Those were all boring and repetitious after the first couple of times. But THIS (!!!!!) is an amazing place. I've joined for the Muay Thai classes and i absolutely love coming every chance i get. With Muay Thai, you use the 8 points (knees, elbows, hands and feet) so the variety in the classes is perfect. The instructors are awesome because they always have the patience and want you to get better. This is a place where being aggressive is a positive thing and I have never felt more at home. It is a wee bit pricey but it's so worth it. I wake up the next morning and feel sore (woo!) and i look forward to going the next class. It's worth the investment in yourself if you want to get in shape, lose weight, let off steam, learn some technique/discipline or start something that you can stick with for a long time.
The best place in Bakersfield to train for Muay Thai. I trained there for about 2 years before I moved. The instructors are excellent. If you are having trouble learning something they will take the time to work with you so you can properly learn technique. If I ever went back to Bakersfield I would only be going back to train there. Everyone is friendly and constantly striving to improve themselves as well as each other. All in all, it's a great place to have fun while learning martial arts.
Used to go there best gym they break it down for you if you can't learn the moves very respectful and if you forget your gearπ₯π₯ they have extra and have water bottles if you forget it and if you lose something they have a lost and found.the coaches are nice thank you coach Ryan, coach Phil, coach kel el,coach hunter, and coach chris also Eric Nolan and Erica
Honestly I've been getting my ass kicked back and forth and I couldn't ask for more the 2 days I spent there so far has taught me alot and I get to train with alot of different people with different skill sets there's alot of people who didn't like the training because they had to spend the first half holding pads or doing drills they just don't understand that's the point every one is there to learn and you just gotta wait your turn trust me if your patient you'll get exactly what your looking for along with some scrapes here n there but that's the fun part if you ask me remember to stay active and don't hesitate to to join this gym I promise it's worth it
I took the class at 5:15AM. Lots of cardio for an hour with no breaks. This class really pushes you to your limits. You even have to sign a death waver to take the class. If you want to sweat so much that you look like you took a shower and didn't dry off and have a miserably sore body the next morning. Take this class. So hardcore.
I love the welcoming family environment Eric and his team have created. This is a great place to work out and learn martial arts from great trainers. The trainers are always motivating and patient, and make sure everyone is getting the most out of their workout. I highly recommend this place!
