My son started training here at 5 years old and absolutely loved it. He progressed quickly working with Coach Trent and Coach Tanya and built a strong relationship with both of them. He no longer is working out here but was able to perform two different kid tournaments. Now I train here in the adult classes and look forward to attending the jiu jitsu classes every night. If only I had more time I would attend the kickboxing and Catch wrestling classes as well. All the different options that are offered here is amazing and the coaching staff does a great job each night.
CSW is a great gym. I love training there. They have great coaches, a great staff, we are all a team and a family. It’s a great facility, extremely clean. Not only is there training equipment for combat, but also a weight room for strength conditioning. CSW has some of the best most experienced coaches in the world. Coach Paulson has been everywhere when it comes to combat and has seen it all. He is a great mentor for all of us, and teaches us new techniques every single day. If you are looking for a gym that is family friendly, but will also push you each day you step foot through the door then CSW is the gym for you.
I came to CSW Headquarters for the World Conference and left completely recharged. This wasn’t just another seminar—it was a convergence of legends. Training under Erik Paulson, Greg Nelson, Rigan Machado, and Guro Dan Inosanto was an absolute honor. The Ruotolo brothers brought insane energy and high-level insight, and Tyler Wombles delivered striking instruction that was crisp, practical, and powerful—one of the best Muay Thai minds in the game. Trent Meaux’s classes were another highlight. He teaches both the kids and the adults with precision and intensity, and you walk away sharper every time. Beyond the mat, the hospitality at CSW is unmatched. Miss Katy at the front desk made everyone feel at home and kept the whole event running smoothly. And Tonya Paulson—she’s the backbone of it all. Warm, organized, and incredibly supportive. You can feel the love she pours into the CSW family. Whether it’s for a world-class seminar or a regu
I have trained on and off in martial arts since 1999 and have been to a handful of dojos. The Sensei or Instructor sets the tone of the gym. You will know when it has expertise, life, energy, professionalism, cleanliness, and is family oriented. Over time, the gym will attract and retain members who seek the same atmosphere the instructor has established. Along with getting a hard, fulfilling workout each class, your journey of learning martial arts at CSW will be fruitful, fun, happy, and you will find friends who will become family to you. By far, CSW is the best gym I have ever trained at! It truly has every quality I mentioned.
I started my martial arts journey here at CSW, and I couldn't imagine a better place to have done so. They offer classes in jiu-jitsu, catch wrestling, kickboxing, Filipino martial arts, and much more! And the instructors are all top-notch—they care about your safety and success as a martial artist. The classes are small and intimate enough that you get the attention you need from the instructor but large enough that you don't feel like you're being ignored. If you're looking for a place to start your martial arts journey or want to keep up with your training after some time off, don't hesitate! Go check out CSW today.
